Devaughn was our DJ this past weekend and WOW. He was absolutely amazing!! I couldn't recommend him enough. He read the crowd perfectly and transitioned the songs seamlessly. It was so great to have MULTIPLE people come up to us and compliment how good he was and the playlist. The dance floor was full the whole night! He was so kind and very detailed asking how long we wanted certain songs and hyped the crowd up perfectly for grand entrances. There was a particular moment my (now) husband and I remember where he played a classic throwback from the early 2000s and all of our guest including us went wild because we're millennials and we grew up on that music. He read the crowds energy and mashed up 3 songs to keep it going, playing the most memorable parts to sing along to instead of having the whole 3 songs where the energy might die. It was AMAZING! Going into wedding planning I had a fear of DJs because I have been to many weddings where the dance floor was empty because of poor song choices, microphone feedback during speeches, etc but he smashed it out of the park. Everything went so smoothly and couldn't have been better! I even forgot my bouquet as I was about to go down the aisle and he was on top of it immediately and seamlessly looped the processional song without anyone noticing a thing. His song selections were on point and set the right mood for each portion of our reception- especially when he opened the floor and it was full of people dancing until our wedding was over. We hired Devaughn Daniels from Timmy D Productions for our 9/1/19 wedding at Temecula Creek Inn and we couldn't be more grateful. Devaughn was on top of everything- from our details call to the day of our wedding. We had our wedding two weeks ago. Both my wife and I are annoyingly particular with the music we love. And even more particular with the music we hate. We never heard Devaughn DJ prior to our event but we read a lot of positive reviews. There is a reason why he has a five star review.... he is everything and more you would want as your wedding DJ. We had him do annoying things like play songs at different parts of the ceremony and we literally gave him a song list of 50 songs we wanted at specific times. He did all of this, and added his own spin to a few by the vibe of the night. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding this past October. DJ Devaughn and Timmy D Productions were wonderful to work with! Both the office and Devaughn responded quickly and professionally both over email and phone. We had him do a set up for both our ceremony and reception, and both were great. My husband is Iranian and we wanted to integrate a bunch of Persian traditions and music into our wedding. Devaughn was helpful in providing a list of Iranian music that he already had for us to take a look at, and also requested we give him a list of things we wanted. He graciously got all of them and played a great mix of American dance music and the Iranian music throughout the wedding. He was very relaxed when speaking with us, which always put me at ease, but was easily able to keep the party going during our whole reception. Our last name is also very difficult to pronounce, but I could tell Devaughn practiced and he said it perfectly :) Overall, we had a very reasonable price for a fantastic DJ. I was trying to choose between two different DJs in the area, and the moment I met DeVaughn, I knew he was the right one for us. I told him it was important for my fiance to have complete control in customizing the playlist, and he immediately reassured us it would be no problem. It took us forever (up to a week before the wedding) to get our song list together, and we even overlooked choosing our mother of groom/ father of the bride dances until the day before; DeVaughn was accommodating and never tried to stress us out about what we'd forgotten to do. He also allowed us to share some of our songs that weren't on his website via dropbox. The Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club had its 29th Annual Run Through the Vineyard on April 23, 2016. The event was very successful with over 450 registered runners and 11 booth supporters. I told DeVaughn when we first met that if he couldn't get me a disco ball, it was a deal-breaker. Instead of telling me to take a hike, he smiled, laughed and brought that disco ball to the big dance. Other than actually getting married, that was my favorite part of the wedding hahaha! He also accommodated my request for a soft, subtle-transition of lighting color for the up-lights by actually purchasing a new program for the up-lights that he had already so the colors would change the way I envisioned. C'mon that's amazing. Thank you DeVaughn! DeVaugn even helped me build the self-confidence I needed to sing a song and play guitar for my new bride in front of eveyone, on stage.
