Parkway At 31 - Leasing office at Parkway at 31 in Little River, SC

We were sold on the luxury living and 1st month off rent…read more We didnt think we would be writing this review from a hotel to avoid the toxic water damage exposure hidden in our unit. Nor did we think the project would be abandoned and listed for sale so soon. Minor shortcomings are realistic, however major issues are another story. We have photos, videos and have submitted complaints to the necessary channels. Parkway 31 must somehow fix their water damaged units before letting tenants rent them. There are other issues from flooded garages, new sink faucets that are rusting from lack of thread tape, water leaks under patio door thresholds and spiders that plague the stairwells.

Why we allow a family with small children to rent a top floor unit? Because $, and the sucker who lives below will be trapped. I stay gone from when I wake up until almost time for bed to avoid the stomping and running. I take my own sanitizing wipes to the gym now because I guess the ones they supplied were too much a splurge for "luxury living". I got a letter on my door today June 3 trying to "collect a debt" since my rent wasn't paid on exactly June 1.... Maybe wait until it's late with a penalty before the door letters start?? I have never had a late rent fee in my life, and if the new management cared if anyone liked them, they would do better. We receive unhinged emails from our new management about pool use and cigarette butts, to the point I laugh while I read them. Professionalism would be great, as well as can someone please find the key to the toilet paper holders and stop putting unwrapped rolls on the bathroom floors?? Also... hear me out.... What if... all the gym equipment was in good safe working order?!? Crazy. To be fair, my place is gorgeous. The management needs to do better, and I had a terrible refrigerator issue that cost me a fridge full of food like others have mentioned. There are better places with less chaos and shortcomings available around here while this one gets it together , but lesson learned.

The lazy river is nice when the sun is out. The hot tubs were actually hot which was great. The sea is warm and beckoning. The Sand Bar was okay. Every time we ordered drinks they were very weak. Order the beer.... The wings were hot and crispy....perfect for happy hour. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The ac works great but it's lacking in the hallways and elevators. All in all a great time. Would come back in a heartbeat

Club Wyndham Ocean Boulevard, N Myrtle Beach, SC. Mid-Sept, 2026. This resort is described as a…read morepremier (3-star) oceanfront timeshare resort featuring 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom suites in four towers with full kitchens, lots of pantry space, balconies, and within-unit washers and dryers. Resort amenities are abundant and include direct beach access, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, (small) lazy rivers, a fitness center, an arcade, and a fire pit. We made a relatively late reservation here for five nights when we learned that international guests would be visiting. There would be seven guests (all adults) for two nights, and only four of us for the other three nights. We used extra timeshare points (making it more expensive) in order to get a unit on an upper floor, hoping that the upper floor would give us the best ocean view. Unit. (3/5). Our unit in Tower 2 was spacious (especially when there were only 4 of us), and had everything that we needed and was clean. We especially appreciated the fully-stocked full kitchen with generous pantry space, having a washer and dryer in the unit, and the jacuzzi in the main bedroom (which we under-utilized!). The beds were comfortable, and had high quality linens. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the unit as our ocean view was limited (although you could see the ocean, beach, and one of the pools from our balcony). And, as the resort was built in 2002, and last renovated in 2011, it's now beginning to show its age -- with sofas and chairs that were no longer firm, some chips on furniture, and the musty smell that comes with high humidity. Amenities and Activities. (3.5/4). Tower 2 was convenient, and had many amenities that we utilized. It was home to the Lobby and Registration, had direct beach access, a lazy river, access to indoor and outdoor pools, game room/arcade, activities center, gift shop, and fire pit. As with our room, some of the amenities need upgrades. For instance, the hot tub was lukewarm at best, and the markings on the shuffleboard had eroded off. The resort also had a full calendar of "Resort Experiences", which included arts and crafts, shows, fitness classes, and more. HOWEVER, we were three days in before we even learned that there were resort activities, as we weren't given a schedule at check-in. For instance, we would've gone to the Sunday evening "Karaoke Welcome Party" at the fire pit, but we weren't aware. We DID enjoy the "Hula Fire Show" a few nights later. A few other random points. (1) Parking could be challenging if it's important to you to have parking close to your unit. If not, there's plentiful parking (and a free shuttle, which we didn't utilize) behind Tower 4. We were able to get parking in Tower 2 most evenings, except one evening when we got back late. (2) we were surprised that the concierge did have discount tickets to the shows in Myrtle Beach that we wanted to attend. (3) we would stay here again, but probably wouldn't pay extra again for a higher floor.

WORST VACATION RENTAL EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD -- READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING WITH ELLIOTT BEACH…read moreRENTALS We paid more than $2,600 for a vacation rental through Elliott Beach Rentals. What should have been the beginning of our vacation became nearly two days of documenting problems, making calls, waiting for assistance, and dealing with cleaning ourselves. This was not a minor housekeeping issue. THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 At 1:00 p.m., we were texted that the rental was ready. At 1:45 p.m., the office told us it was not ready. We returned closer to 3:00 p.m. When we entered, we were shocked by the condition. At 3:08 p.m., I contacted Elliott Beach Rentals. Their representative apologized, acknowledged the condition, asked for photographs, and said a re-cleaning team could be sent. Beginning around 3:24 p.m., I sent photographs documenting: * Mold around shower windows, doors, corners, and bathroom areas * Hair in the shower * Dirty bathroom tile * Food caked inside the oven * Broken glass on the floor * Cracked refrigerator shelves and water inside drawers * Dirty rugs and towels * Filthy light switches * Fingerprints and film covering sliding glass doors * Dead bugs and hair on doorknobs * Potato chips underneath the television * Ceiling fans so dirty that dust flew through the room when turned on * Food, cereal, dirt, and hair in the master bed * Used feminine hygiene products underneath the master bathroom cabinetry At 4:00 p.m., I asked if we could be moved. We had paid more than $2,600 and did not believe we should have to spend our vacation cleaning a condominium that was supposed to have been professionally cleaned and inspected. I was told a re-cleaning team would be sent and management would address the situation. At 4:32 p.m., I was told management had already gone home and would not be available until 8:00 a.m. the following morning. We were left in the condominium with the documented problems and no manager available. I requested a refund of the cleaning and inspection fees because the condition indicated those services had not been adequately performed. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 At 9:01 a.m., we still had no call from management and no cleaning team. At 10:25 a.m., we were told the re-clean had been entered. At 2:11 p.m., we were still waiting; housekeeping was running behind. At 2:36 p.m., we were finally told a housekeeper named Ronnie was on the way. When he arrived, the work order was incomplete and did not include all the problems we had documented. Ronnie also told us cleaning the food from our bed was not his responsibility. We were approaching 24 hours after reporting the condition. Eventually, two cleaners were sent to sweep and mop. I explained that sweeping and mopping did not address the extensive problems we had documented and said I was going to speak with management about the incomplete work order. The cleaners left. We did not refuse cleaning services. They left while I went to speak with management. When I attempted to speak with Nicole, the manager, I found the office locked. Nicole later told me I should not have turned the cleaners away. That is not what happened. After nearly two days of trying to get the rental properly cleaned, I was also told to "calm down." We paid thousands for a rental that was supposed to be ready. Instead, we spent our vacation documenting problems, making calls, sending photographs, waiting for assistance, and trying to obtain the service we had already paid for. THE MANAGEMENT RESPONSE The condition was unacceptable, but the management response was equally disappointing. We reported the problems immediately, sent photographs, requested assistance, waited for cleaning and management, and repeatedly followed up when nobody arrived. Eventually, Nicole stopped taking my calls and communicating directly with me. My husband ultimately spoke with Kyle, who was presented to us as corporate management. We received $600 in compensation. I appreciate that, but it does not change that we paid more than $2,600 for a rental that was not properly cleaned or ready for occupancy. WARNING TO FUTURE GUESTS If you are considering Elliott Beach Rentals, do your research before booking. Read recent reviews carefully and ask what happens if you arrive at a property that is not actually ready for occupancy. This was far more than a minor housekeeping issue: we documented mold, hair, dirt, food, dead bugs, broken glass, damaged refrigerator components, filthy surfaces, and used feminine hygiene products inside the condominium. We reported these conditions immediately, yet spent the following day waiting for a cleaning crew and repeatedly contacting the company. Our vacation became nearly two days of dealing with cleaning problems and management. For us, this was the worst vacation rental experience we have ever had. We paid for a clean, inspected vacation rental. That is not what we received. We will never use Elliott Beach Rentals again.
