Got a phone all at 9.15 last night booking me in for this morning and received another call this morning saying they could actually fit me in even earlier! Amazing service, and a very patient dentist (v nervous of needles etc). Wish I lived in Navan so I could attend this surgery!

When I called to make my the appointment I was informed I couldn't see the hygienist until I saw the main Dentist as this is common practice for a new patient. I waited two weeks for an appointment which wasn't too bad. The office is located about 5 minutes from the top of Camden street and inside an old Georgian house. The reception is located on the bottom floor and I was greeted by two very friendly receptionist. Filled out a quick form and was right on time to meet with Dr. Ed. Being honest I was actually taken aback by Dr. Ed's friendliness. You can tell that his patients are very important to him and he took genuine interest in myself. He was quick and precise but at no point did I feel rushed. I definitely felt he knew what he was talking about. I was then moved along to the Hygienist who again I felt very comfortable with. I was disappointed with one thing; I had a filling and it was to cost E120. I went tot the front desk to pay I was charged more, nearly E30 more. I questioned it and was told the filling was deeper than originally expected so it cost more... communication PLEASE...never knew this until I was being charged...my pre-bill quote flew out the window :(

I visited the clinic on the 6/1/19 I lost a filling and broke outer wall of my top jaw tooth, I saw…read moreDr O Brien, he gave me 2 options ether extract it or have crown fitted, I decided to go for the crown, he took me into his high tech lab room for a scan, he spent a little time on his PC designing my crown he then loaded a blank block of porcelene into a multi axis Cnc machine which machined the crown in 10 minutes, the he fitted the crown job done in/out in less than an hour no further visits needed. I informed my dentist (John) and his dental nurse (Kelly) that I was quite nervous and they were so accomodating and understanding, John explained everything he was going to do in a clear manner that had me feeling quite at ease. There were no sudden surprises. I was told that if at any time I was feeling uncomfortable they would stop what they were doing. It's been 10 hours since having the tooth removed and also having a much needed filling, the anasthetic has long worn off and I look forward to a full nights sleep without the need to take painkillers. Gentle, honest, professional and affordable! They price fillings according to size unlike the standard €120 in Dublin. The most I've paid for a filling is £45! Huge savings. My mum has had a bridge put in and my sister has had the 6 month braces and teeth whitened. They are both thrilled with the results! These guys are always booked up so advance appointments is required. It's only an hour drive from Dublin... What's not else to like :-)
