However, quite a few times I've rang up and gotten an appointment on the same day and a sick cert to prove to work I wasn't just hungover! Take that! I've only been to one of the doctors in the clinic, Dr Ciara O'Shea, but she's always super friendly and helpful. This office was recommended to me and it did not disappoint! First impressions mean everything; so, as soon as I entered the building I was pleased to see how clean and attractive it was. The office itself, although at basement level, was even more inviting. I was seated in a really nice waiting room with several comfortable brown leather chairs. And, I was offered a cup of tea while I waited. I saw the Hygienist (Ms. Francis) and she was awesome - incredibly thorough! She got me back in working order so I can show off my pearly whites to the world again :) She also gave me lots of feedback and information regarding caring for my teeth. The Dentist (Dr. Quinlan) saw me briefly after my cleaning was completed, a no-nonsense, yet quick and thorough, check followed by a seal of approval. Before I departed, I utilized their restroom which was so lovely I almost set up camp there...! A clean, comfortable, and attractive facility - especially for dental work - is important to me. Add a thorough check-up by efficient professionals and I'm a happy camper. This is the spot I'll return to to keep me smiling! Say Cheese! A few months later I developed an abscess in my gum this went on for a year and then I was reffered to Dr Linda by my new dentist. She noticed the bump in my gum and recommended a 3D X-ray. She looked at the X-ray (performed in office) and noticed that the specialist in the U.S had missed a canal. She re did the root canal including the one that the specialist had missed. She was able to drill through my crown without removing it. The process was not painful at all. I am to go back for a final cleaning of the canals soon. I am so happy to have found such an expert. I'm unsure why the other reviews scored so low. She has excellent manners and is the best dental expert I have ever been to. Who knows how long I would have been in pain for if I hadn't have found her office. I would recommend her to everyone. I never review businesses on Yelp but I know her office deserves 5 stars. I will not name names but their site and marketing approach seems more important than their ability to work in their chosen profession. In the SCR clinic you will always get the same dentist or dental hygienist if you are a patient. I'm quite a nervous patient and had a wisdom tooth extracted and two fillings plus a cleaning with the absolute minimum of pain. I would rate them as 5 stars or if grading them would give them an A( in other words greater than 85 percent -"good"). They are a ,"top drawer establishment ", and would tell anyone who is a nervous patient or has had a bad experience in the past that this is where to go. 5 stars. You will not get better easily and everyone who I spoke to while waiting had only good words to speak of them.

A good dentist is worth going the extra mile for!…read more A friend's tip directed me over the river and up the hill to this family business, presided over by a father-and-daughter dentist pair. They've repurposed a Georgian house with bedrooms turning into exam rooms and a waiting room. On top of finding and fixing problems that other dentists overlooked, they're both just plain nice, with a long memory for patients and a feeling that you're really giving patronage to a small business. A further plus: prices are leaps and bounds lower than competitors. I trust my teeth to the O'Loughlins and you should too. The setup's a bit weird: get buzzed in the front door and you're directed via speaker into the waiting room, then later called into the reception area upstairs when they're ready for you. But sure that's how the house came to them, so that's what they did with it.

I managed to make a booking the previous day. When I got there, it felt like a money hungry company as the dentists didn't have cabins, but it was more open plan. I wasn't impressed by the secretaries that I had to deal with, zero customer service and even though I had my treatment and payment plan confirmed by my insurance, they still tried to charge me full price until I proved my right. All negative things aside, my dentist Kamil Noor was amazing, she was very sweet and professional, it really felt like she cared and had a sense of humor! I would definitely go see her again next time!
