His help with my mother communicating with me from beyond was just what I needed and I've been back a few times. His reading have been helpful and he has helped me with working on things I needed a gentle push on. My kids and husband love him, too and they have had readings as well. His rates are too low! You can tell he shares his gift to help people instead of making money from it. This experience was better than I could have wished for.

This book club is to be able to share experience, insight and secrets. Aside from the obvious of discussing books of all sorts. Whether a Writer, Author or just a reader. I attended the final meeting for the year and was able to contribute to the new years reading lists. Which also has Author appearances for 8 out of the 12. Pretty rad. There was a book gift exchange and I got to unwrap 2 new books! (nerd moment) The coordinator of the club is Alice an amazing real life character, Author and Editor. She was great and inviting. As well as the other folks. This club is open to the public. (No hecklers allowed) Meet up is last Friday of every month. I will try to put up a list of the books and Authors of our upcoming year as a picture if anyone is interested.

My husband…read moreand I are big fans of their weekly specials and are excited for their CSA to launch again next spring. We're also excited for strawberry picking since we haven't been yet! In the fall, they sell decorations such as mums, pumpkins, hay bales, and corn stalks. They accept them back as donations at the end of the season and put it to good use as fertilizer, erosion control, or treats for the cows and pigs, which we love because of its sustainability and reusability. In the winter, they host an annual Christmas Craft fair, which had a ton of amazing local vendors and was such a fun time. The Pace family is incredibly friendly and you get such a good amount of produce for the price. We always leave feeling like we got a great deal! Go pay them a visit!

I love all animals but cows have always held a special place in my heart. There were a total of 8 of us that visited the farm (some more excited than others ), we all enjoyed interacting with & learning about the animals. Our host was the owner, Kyle. He was knowledgable, patient & his love for each one of the animals was obvious. We couldn't have asked for a better person to show us around the farm! He encouraged us to feed the cows, hold the baby goats & pet the pigs. Because it was my birthday, I got to bottle feed Luigi, a 3 week old baby goat - eek!!! I couldn't have asked for a better birthday & I will never forget my visit to Olde Sky Farms!!! I can't wait to visit again!

Music lovers, get on their email list, keep an eye on their website, follow them on Facebook,…read morebecause there is no telling who they will have here that you have an opportunity to see up close and personal! There is no specific style of music...it's a variety of local and national talent...from bluegrass to kids' music, blues, jazz...you name it...I'm telling you, stay alert! We enjoyed a national talent on a recent Thursday night, having heard on That Station that Matthew Shuler (from The Voice) was going to be there. Uh...a four-chair turn on a Thursday night for $12? Sounded like the perfect time to check out this awesome venue. And it was. This is in downtown Wake Forest, right next to/below Sugar Magnolia Cafe Emporium. How cool is it to have a coffee shop/cafe, wine bar above an intimate music venue? A limited bar downstairs also, but you can bring anything you want down from up, including food. Fold out chairs, some tables, a few high tops. This is small and casual which is what makes it a one-of-a-kind way to experience music. Reminds me of some of the clubs from years gone by. Parking is not a problem. All around street parking.
