terrible school, worst 3 years of my life I'm surprised this school is still open, they would discriminate towards the kids that transferred from a public school. teachers were out of pocket in general mr villareal, ms abuede, and the worst out of the 3 SISTER CRIS. she would tell us as 13 year olds that you get raped based offf what your wearing and told the principal that i gave my friend an adult toy when it was clearly a bread toy. most teachers wouldn't even try to hide their favoritism... although this was 4 years ago it has really stuck with me how terrible things were run , i hope it's better now but as long as those teachers still work there then I'm not too sure about that ‍ read more

I've went to this school 4th-8th grade and hated it the staff are outta pocket and girls be snobby and what you pay for is not worth it the food is absolutely disgusting and the classes are hella boring and when I attended this school I brought a ORGANIC juice box and got it taken away at lunch but their over here serving sugary juice for lunch like make it make sense plus the uniform is expensive and ugly there's no room in this school to express yourself and to have an opinion this school is full of mama boys and snobby girls don't put your kid in this school if your gonna put them in a public high school afterwards cause they will not be able to handle it bffr I couldn't wait to graduate from here ever since I've left this school I've never been happier read more

Both my girls attend Resurrection. The education and value they instill on the children are superior to other schools they've attended! My kindergartner reads at a 1st grade level, and my 7th grader has grown to love God and shows it through her actions. My DS has attended this great school for the past two years and it has been great. Not only is he reading at four but academically he is doing well and keeps improving!!!. As a parent I couldn't be happier with the choice we made to enroll him at Resurrection. We have been fortunate that both of his teachers(Ms. Lujan and her assistant Mrs. García last year, and Mrs. Arias this year) have been great, understanding, and loving towards the children (also like to mention the two volunteer moms who assist Mrs. Arias) .I also love how they push them to be more independent and push them to be better little people by having them participate in church and have religion be a huge part of their lives. read more

We enrolled our 4 year old daughter in transitional kindergarten here this year, and so far could not be happier with her progress. The structure provided in the form of faith and education is already setting a foundation from she is learning and growing every day. The faculty, specifically her teacher Mrs. Arias does a great job in instilling discipline, good work/study habits, compassionate and empathetic social skills. Last year was the first year my oldest started kindergarten there and I must say it was the best decision my husband and I made. This school provides not only a GREAT education but also teaches the students great Catholic values. The teachers and staff are always so friendly and approachable. My daughter attends this school, and it's great. The teachers care that each child learns and understands the material, especially sister Ines del Carmen. The school teaches them not only about religion, morals, and values, but also establishes high academic levels. I love Resurrection church my family has been attending this church for over 50 years I have received several sacraments here and one I hold dear to me is my Marriage and I adore Msr John Moretta.....recently we have welcomed Father Parker Sandoval and he is wonderful ! I have attended about five of his masses recently and I keep going back for more he keeps my mind open to other views and thinking deeper positive thoughts about my faith. He is a breathe of fresh air and a great addition to the church community and positive role model to the youth of our elementary school. Can't wait to see what he has in store for us next ! My son has attended this school for pre school 2013-14, at first I was sceptic of their way of running the school but have being there a year you start to get use to it. Having attended catholic school till high school there are certain standards that I would expect any or all schools to have. Prior to coming I had heard about the bad communication the "school" has with their parents, having no judgement & having a long list of relatives who had attended the school I decided to continue tradition and send my son here. Having that said I would say resurrection school needs to work on their commutation with parents I'm talking one on one. I think the kindergarten teacher has poor communication skills as well.Having my son attend the summer school there, I could never get her to talk to me about my sons performance I would only have the teachers aid talk to me. Overall I would say they need an event planner to get just a flow of things for recitals & school assembly's etc. Out of all the schools they are trying hard to come up to par with most Catholic schools I've attended and visited. I think if they stay open to options & suggestions and actually do it,it would improve the school for the best and its future ! read more

Resurrection Catholic School is a great school, my son has been there for two years and I refuse to move him out of such an awesome school. The principal is so helpful and attentive to my child's needs. The teachers are amazing, the staff in the office is very helpful and the coach is incredible with the kids. They also have an amazing music program and the teacher is the best. The priest are so involved with the children, they love when Father Parker visits them in the class rooms the get so excited. I know the cafeteria crew go out of their way to help the students get exactly what they want to eat. I highly recommend this school to any another families who's looking for their child to grow academically and in faith. read more

My children have attended since 2013 .. starting in prek, 1st and second grade. My 2 eldest have done great. Although we are not catholic i like what the school offers. The expectations are high and the school does not believe in children learning differently.. you have to adapt to the way they teach. Their is much more i would like to say but i will focus on the positive and not the negative. Children will be pushed beyond their capacity. Personaly me.. i am not the type of parent to complete my childs homework and i will not push them if i see they have applied them self. I dont force them to do their weekend homework and so their grades aren't the best. But overall they do well. The kids are constantly taking test and children as young as 4 will learn their numbers up to 200 ( not sure what that is for, but they are tought that ) my youngest has been their all the years of her school life. she has grown to be a nervous child.. sad thing shes never been awarded student of the month. Nevertheless my other 2 are doing ok... word of advice you need to stick up for your childs best interest and i would speak my mind but feel gratitude towards the school... do not expect them to assist you with your childs academic fall backs the priciple will probably be busy finding more funding for her school. if you are looking for a good school where you can be involved here it is ... resurrection elementry. read more

I am so thankful I found this school thru a family member just to tell you I live far from the school but it's worth it .. that my son attends this school.the environment is loving very safe and there's a lot of parents involved in the school , staff is the greatest ..and the greatest thing is the principal is a very humble loving understanding human being not even exaggerating I guarantee that the moment you meet this great principal you will agree with what I am saying you have an issue she will find a way to fix it and definitely hear you out and find a solution together with you if you ever have one ..I love the staff there's so many activities for the children ..the teachers are great too they find ways to help your children if they need the extra support..you can always communicate with them .. this school is the closest you can find to being perfect in my eyes the closest .. I travel a great distance to take my son to school but he and I are happy to go the extra mile..
