This review is for the gym. Mofufus Basketball League is held here on Sunday for the past few years. The old gym is as it sounds, old court and old bleachers. The new gym is as it sounds, new and clean. They run 1 game on the old court and run 2 games on the new courts. Awesome league. Very fun to play in!

I understand if you want something you go out and get it....however..how the heck are you supposed to know what it is you are reaching for when you are the first to go to college in your family? I think the relatives of these couselors work at ELAC too lol because their couselors were just as insulting and uninterested in steering you in the right direction. 2/I received more unwarranted truant tickets than my backpack could handle causing financial stress on my family. This does not have to do with AHS but I thought I'd throw that in there. 3/No programs reaching out to students from lower income families to speak with them about college, how it works (yes, how it works), financial aid (so it's believable anyone can get a higher education) 4/No programs about SAT's and how they can help you. I think all the teachers there are cool but my favorite teachers are Mrs. Delamater and Mrs. Mendoza. All of those one star reviews are NOT TRUE they are just being dramatic from the past but the only thing that's true is that there is lots of playground drama and sometimes the teachers can be a little over dramatic. Let me begin by saying: I care deeply about my child's education. That's why I'm shocked -- and honestly appalled -- at the lack of structure, communication, and basic professionalism happening here. First of all, the front office? A disaster. I called to report my daughter's absence and got transferred three times -- just to be told, "We already marked her absent." Wow, thank you so much for that stellar customer service. Second: the pickup line. If you know, you know. It's pure chaos. No cones. No staff direction. Just cars cutting each other off while fifth graders dodge traffic like it's Frogger. I guess safety isn't a priority?? Third -- and this one really makes my blood boil -- my child came home last week saying they "ran out of milk" at lunch. Excuse me? How do you "run out" of milk at an elementary school? This isn't a food truck. There are literally 300 growing children who need calcium, and y'all can't stock a fridge? Don't even get me started on the playground drama. The teachers barely supervise recess, and somehow my daughter got "accidentally" pushed twice in one week. I've emailed. I've messaged on ParentSquare. Radio silence. If no one responds again, I will be showing up in person -- and I'm not bringing Starbucks this time. Look, I'm not trying to be that mom, but Northrup seriously needs to reevaluate its priorities. This area has many of the ins and outs from a school district. Accounting, Mental Health Department, etc. can be found here. Service is friendly, as you immediately enter, someone is there to greet you and try to direct you on your way (This holds true to two of the buildings I entered into). The downfall lies in access to this place. On Mission, it is kind of hidden, and from the outside looks like a small factory. What makes it distinguishable are the red buildings. What makes it worse is the small parking lot. Most of the spots is for 2 hours, and on the inside are more parking spots for employees, yet I have no idea how to get in there. I have gone here twice, and on both occasions, there are always cars waiting for a parking spot. This place is busy! As I might have to go here more often, stay tuned, I shall try to keep you guys updated.
