Really bad!! They said they had expertise in my field but the first draft was so poor on so many levels I can't describe. It was evident to me that the writer copied word for word in most areas from the resume provided and where the " professional resume expert" tried to be creative it was clear they lacked any familiarity with the field of speciality that they indicated they specialized!! When I wrote the writer back and advised I didn't know where to go after the initial first draft I did not hear from them. I sent numerous emails and finally heard back. By this point I spent considerable time writing my own resume which I did not want to do!! Terrible. My original resume looked better. Resume had lots of words crammed onto one page making it hard for anyone to read. Sent it out to 2 job openings to test it out and of course I didnt hear back. Not to say that there could be multiple reasons why I didnt but Im still getting hits off my old resume. My wife was OK with her $1.97 cover letter. When I got 2 $39.95 charges on my credit card, not so much. They refused to refund the charges -- classic bait and switch credit card scam. read more

I showed my resume to 3 friends that run their own 20-3,000 person companies and they all thought it was full of crap. Writers use fluff words. Format is outdated. On top of that, writers are disorganized, don't get back to you on time, and in order to get anything from them you really have to push. read more

Warning!!! "Do NOT" use Resume Writer Direct! They are exactly what HB of Seattle, WA wrote in their review. They are not transparent/upfront on how long it will take for a resume to be completed. I too did not get a writer who is skilled in my particular field instead I got someone who does legal services despite RWD having at least 2 other writers as per their profiles on the RWD website who are in my field of work (makes no sense). I first signed up and paid $99 for an entry-level resume only package service. I received an email a day later July 13th from the RWD writer they assigned to me to create a new resume within 3 days by July 16, 2019. I didn't receive a completed resume instead on July 16th I get an email from the writer stating that after reviewing my submitted resume and additional information he considers my resume a challenge for him to work with and needs one more day. So instead he states that I will get my completed resume on July 17th. Today is July 18th and it's almost 8 pm. Still, no email response back from the writer nor have I received any completed resume. I provided my personal concerns regarding having my resume created by RWD and it was that I have a deadline to meet for turning in a job application and I would appreciate if they can have it done in two days instead of their standard 3 days. The RWD writer never acknowledged my concerns. Also, their "live chat" is a fraud because when you click on it always says that they are "offline". I don't know why I bothered to email their "support" email address when I already know they will just make pitiful excuses as to why my resume has not been done. It is my first time using a resume writing agency. It proves to me that these writing services are fraudulent money scams. I will be reporting RWD to the BBB. I'm out $99 and no resume. I became a widow on 1/18/2022 and have not only lost my husband but also my medical insurance and 80% of my income. I needed to create a resume quickly and your site was recommended to me. I signed up and had no idea that it was a 14-day free trial and that I would be charged $24.99/month in 2 weeks. My life is in chaos, I was not aware of this membership, and I am broke. When I called to explain my situation, I was told that I needed to cancel by 2/15, which I didn't do because I was unaware of the membership plan. I was then offered the plan for $9.99 a month, which I declined because the formatting of the resume and cover letters created were subpar. I immediately canceled my membership and was given a $12.48 credit, which means I still paid $12.51 for a membership that I was just offered to me for a price of $9.99. Do the math. Yes, I did in fact sign up for a membership quickly and I will acknowledge that mistake. I was skeptical about this service but needed the assistance. I am switching careers and needed my cross over skills professionally written. I feel 50/50 about the service I received it had some great aspects and a few disappointments. I ordered 3 services resume, cover letter, and linkedIn. The base of the products I received made for a decent outline, helped highlight my crossover skills, and attributes. The downfalls are false advertising with their turn around time and collaboration. They advertised unlimited communication which is misleading. You can only contact your writer via email and your writer is only required to respond once in a 24 hour period. My responses often didn't answer what I asked and often came a couple days later. I sent them information and that was about the end of "collaborating." They also advertise quick turn around with a three day time frame. My products often came days past the time frame with having had to call to check their status. I hired this company based on these services of "unlimited collaboration and quick turn around." Do to the many delays and late responses I missed applying for two jobs which led me to hire this company for their services in the first place. When I finally did receive my final products and forfeited their offer of "revisions" due to not wanting to be delayed by another week there were several grammatical and punctual errors. They were minor but frustrating for a professional writing service. Overall the service was a good base and outline but not worth the $217 I paid for the 3 products. They did refund me $39 for one of the products due to my dissatisfaction. I feel their service could be improved by more honest turn around times and collaboration. I just wasnt't good. I bought the expidited 24 hour turn around service and they told me it would be impossible to get it back that quick. After I explained about 5 times that I bought a 24 hr service offered on your website they finally did me a favor and got it back to me in about 26 hours which left me no time for corrections being that was about 9 pm and I had a flight the next morning at 6 am for my interview.
