I felt like I could completely trust her judgment, and I really appreciated that she gave me recommendations without ever making me feel like she was trying to oversell me. She was so knowledgeable, warm, and reassuring throughout the whole treatment. My chest was especially important to me, and she even made extra time to fit it in, which meant a lot. From booking through the actual treatment, I felt incredibly comfortable and taken care of. You have a really great team!

I initially spoke with Steve in Colorado to sign up to get the procedure. He had told me "if you ever have any questions feel free to contact me". I did contact him after I had the procedures done as I had questions and he made it very clear that I was bothering him and I should call someone else. I would have rather appreciated if he just said "listen once we get your money don't bother me as I am an important man". I followed up a few months ago and no one seemed to answer the phone whenever I called the Chicago office. I had someone call me from the Colorado office who said that none of the people that worked with me for my procedure were employed there anymore. Including the surgeon. She said she would have someone from the Chicago office call me. That was 4 months ago. Still waiting. Oh well. The staff was great at the time. The procedures didn't work. Steve just wants your money and could care less about you. True story. (Pictures are from Feb 2023 minutes before the procedure and June 2025 what my hair looks like now)

I had chemotherapy 2 years ago and have been trying to grow my hair back since then. I finally decided - why wait years to have the hair I really want?? I went in for a free consultation and learned all about the different type of extensions and what would work best for my hair. I scheduled an appointment with Katherine for about 2 weeks later - she helped me pick out exactly the colors I would need to achieve the look I was going for. Pricing is discussed up front and there were no surprises at the end. I feel absolutely amazing, and because of the INSANE deals they offer to their extension clients on blowouts - I'll be back next week to have my fabulous hair styled. While I was getting my extensions done, I watched the owner do highlights on another client - I have never thought about getting extensions for highlights instead of bleaching/damaging your own hair - I can't believe more people don't do this. Brilliant!

The woman who did my Botox was lovely, talked about what I wanted/needed and asked lots of questions about my previous experience so that she could provide the perfect care, which was thoughtful (and also super professional!). The Botox itself was painless (they have the buzzer for you to use which is awesome for someone with no pain tolerance like me!) and was completed in under 20 minutes. It has set in now and I am no longer waking up with headaches/tight jaw, so definitely works for TMJ girlies like myself. I also thought the pricing was super fair, very much in line with what I've paid before and the touchups being included the first two weeks is super generous (I didn't need any, but neat perk!). I will absolutely be back when I need my next dose! Highly recommend this med spa.

His staff in the room works for me as they were all professional, personable and knowledgeable while being open to getting information for me about the look I did not want. Sidebar: I brought in pictures. Anywhoo, the front desk was personable, helpful and professional including my greeting to my exit. Unfortunately, I parked in the wrong ramp so there was no comp. What can improve: 1) follow-up. I didn't hear from anyone after the insurance submission. I don't know if they appealed or have a business manager or office manager that reaches out to just say here's our cost, out of pocket, or if they feel folks wont come up with it. 2) I learned fromy insurance billing that Dr. S is out of my network but I was prepared to pay that BECAUSE I have seen his work and talked to ladies for candid feedback/testimonals. 3) Bill arrived but I didn't see a website to pay online which I would have much rather alas I called in Friday, March 21st and the person that answered was less than stellar compared to my physical visit. To wrap it up, I asked if I may have the receipt emailed and she called out another email address. She sounded incredulous as if I don't know my classic 1990s Yahoo email that I've had since freshmen year. Anywhoo, I'm not the Gmail girl. We have our school email for Life so I use it for business. My point: let's not be testy like I don't know my email. Anywhoo...I, in turn, made it easier for her in this moment: Rather than spell out the school email we'll just slap yahoo on there and be done. Tbh, her response bothered me more than the office lack of follow-up once the denial arrived. C'est la vié. Yes, I can recommend Dr. S for the work seen on others and his let's get it done attitude. The ladies in consult are physicians in training but I don't care for the iPhone being the item used to take personal pictures.

The experience left us questioning whether this was the right practice for such an important surgery and raised concerns for us about the level of professionalism and communication. However, almost three years later, I am deeply disappointed with the outcome of my procedure. I communicated my concerns to Stuart, the doctor's assistant, sending him pictures and videos. Despite his reassurances that everything was progressing as it should, by the one-year mark, my hair looked worse than before the surgery, and it still does. I feel hopeless and ashamed, unsure if this can even be fixed. I spent $10,000 and feel like it was completely wasted. My concerns have shifted beyond the lack of density. Dr Rachel only popped in a few times to check on me, he did not otherwise assist in any way. I have no idea the credentials of the people who ostensibly implanted the 2500 grafts. I was initially told that I would begin seeing results after three months. When, after three months, nothing appeared to be happening and I voiced my concern, I was told it may take six months to see results. Then, after six months and as I still saw no change, I was told that I must wait a full year , and then year and a half to 2 before expecting results. Each time I questioned the lack of any discernable progress, I was pushed off with a new claim that it takes more time than was originally promised. It's been over two years and the results are terrible. I have very small scattering of hairs which look far worse than I ever looked before, and I've taken to shaving them to minimize the embarrassment. Now, all I have to show for the pain of the six-hour procedure and months of discomfort and emotional anguish is the obvious and embarrassing evidence that I've had implants. I went to the office multiple times to complain and Karen was always the person who put me off. Finally, Dr Rachel met with me and agreed that the results looked terrible. I was told to write up a full description of my experience and send it to them. They said I would get a response within a week. Naturally, I never heard ANYTHING! These people DO NOT stand by their work!!! Ive been completely humiliated and handled like a chump. It's disgusting that an MD can get away with this.
