This place is lovely and in a lovely and walkable part of the city. Challenge to eating alone is that the restaurant has less of a chance to prove their power. I feel that was the sticky part with Restaurante Sonia. The service was at the onset attentive. They have indoor, indoor garden and outdoor seating.
Diverse menu, but disappointing. The brunch I'd picked from their online is no longer available. Don't judge me I like to plan ahead! But, sadly None of the brunch menu is available even though it is still on the QR menu & website.
After that, my food was prettier than it tasted. The bacalao puffs were overly salted and cold by the time the waiter returned to see if I needed anything (yes, pepper sauce). He forgot my tea and honestly seemed a little shaken even when I was able to articulate in Spanish. Maybe just an off day, but I wouldn't go back on my own time or dime. read more
