I have given them 5 stars because the food is always good, but I sometimes question the value for money. By way of an example, the Cafe Latitude in Denia offers better value. Don't be fooled by the fish restaurants on the front. They are not what you see is what you get. Most of the staff at the Baydal have worked there for donkey's years. There English isn't great, but you can get your order across. Do try some Spanish, it is appreciated, even if only get the kids to say "Gracias". I can recommend the sole meunière.

This year, tired of servers that harass you when you walk along the port, I decided to launch my Yelp app, looking out for a good place where we are not accosted every 10 meters! Thanks to Yelp, I found "Baydal" - quite good rated and great location with nice views (port, sea and boats) when you sit on the terrace. We each chose a tapa and a beer. I chose fried baby squids which were delicious 5€. The beer was refreshing and went well with the fried squids. Someone else ordered mussels which were okay. They suck you in with these beautiful seafood platters and slick talking front men. Do not eat here, please, it looks great and delicious, but it's crap.
