The restaurateur is originally French and a flare for cooking. He was very engaging and attentive on the evening we stopped by. The place was full, but he rearranged things so that our table of 5 could be seated promptly. Each one of us enjoyed what we had ordered. I liked that there were many specials not listed on the menu - making the most of great ingredients he got in that day. Don't let the location put you off, this is a great place to enjoy wonderful Altea.
