It is a really quiet and peaceful restaurant and the food is representative of your location . A great selection of local fish or steaks all cooked on an open BBQ grill. For starters you can't go wrong with the foie gras - hot or cold both are stunning. The same with the steaks freshly grilled to your liking. And for me the high light was the pudding - lemon and mint sorbet. Simple but one of the best deserts I've had. The taste is enhanced by multiple jelly balls all filled with lemon juice - that really hit you with a sharp lemon flavour as they melt or you bite into them. Will definitely be back - already twice in three days to check it wasn't a one off wonder - it wasn't The staff are great, attentive but not in your face and the overall vibe can be what you want. Overall it was a great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The prices are a bit high but the overall experience is one to remember. Between both days, we tried: Goat cheese balls with honey & caramelized onion - holy hell what a foodgasm - ask for a side of bread Green salad with tomato, pepper, onion, dried tomatoes, sunflower seeds, and basil oil - we added grilled chicken to this and it was heaven. Sandwich - slice of bread with toppings- Grilled fresh tuna with avocado vinaigrette Sandwich - slice of bread with toppings- Sirloin with melted cheese and onion Iberian ham - slices of cured iberian ham that melts in your mouth- Please don't tell anyone about this place on the other review site --rhymes with "grip schmadvisor"-- where stodgy/stuffy/whiney people flock... because L'Ambrossia is legit, and it shouldn't be tainted.
