Fantastic restaurant for an evening meal with skewer style meat. Similar in presentation to a Brazilian steakhouse found in the US.
The two main choices are the Rodizio which is a variety of meats that are brought to the table on skewers at random intervals, and the Pecanha Fatiado no Espeto. Opted for the Pecanha which is only steak selection. Not entirely sure, but it seems that the steaks are the same for each visit to the table. I.e. they sliced off pieces from the same steak.
The steak is a special cut of sirloin, where the fat cap is left on thick. It is seasoned perfectly, and cooked perfectly - very very tender even until the last slice. Surprising for being a sirloin cut.
Opted for a simpler version of the appetizers which included olives , pickled carrots, bread with selections of cheese, butter, and chicken pate.
The house, wine in a carafe, or jar as they call it, worked out perfectly. Was better than average and easy to drink with the meal.
If you are in town, and want a great meat experience, come here. You may have meat sweats, and maybe even a meat coma, but don't worry it'll be well worth it. read more
