This is a truly beautiful experience. As you expect from this type of restaurant: white linens, well organized, and excellent service. Our party of three chose the tasting menu. One thing extra we ordered was the frog legs. They were exquisite and I wish I could have a dish like this in the states. The batter was light and the legs as juicy as they come. My main dish was the venison. I believe prepared two ways. I did like my dish over the seafood option, but don't let that stop you from enjoying that delicate dish. I would love to make another trip here and maybe try their menu vegetal. I almost forgot about the bread and butter. So fresh and warm.

We did, but not seated in his area. We had Martin and he was great also. The first visit we had reservations and the second one we didn't. I do recommend calling ahead or online booking. The first visit we would not have gotten in and the second visit we barely got a table...think maybe we got a table because they recognized us from before. Items that we ordered were the: Frist Visit: - Lake Perch pan sautéed in butter and served with fries and a side salad. Wow, those tiny little perch filets were awesome. Perfectly cooked, very fresh with absolutely no fishy taste. The fries were very good - crispy and hot. The side salad was very good with a great dressing. - Pan Sautéed Veal with Mushrooms and served with veggies. The veal was browned and the taste was right there. It was tender and needed no extra seasoning at all. The veggies were cooked - not too much but just enough. Second Visit: - Steak - maybe entrecôte - the only one with a peppercorn sauce. We asked for it to be cooked to a medium and it came medium!!! The peppercorn sauce was to die for. We share part of this steak and just kept going back to the sauce. Excellent. I came with fries and veggies. I asked for a very small serving of fries and was accommodated. I also asked if I could have that wonderful side salad as my veggies and was told no. But way into my meal Martin came over and said that I could have the salad. At this time we were both so full that I declined. We were better off. - Penne Pasta with a Spicy Tomato sauce. Weak link of the two visits but hit the spot. The sauce was not spicy at all. The pasta was cooked appropriate. Just couldn't compare with the rest of the food. Highly recommend. Also one should make a booking.

One I don't remember having before is the beef kébbé with onion jam. Very nice. The skewers are all good, the chicken skewers were some of the best I have had in a while. We decided to stay bc we were starving! He offered us drinks so we got coffee and tea. You would expect that for a 45 min wait we would at least get that for our wait... Nope that coffee and tea was $10. When we ordered we wanted hummus but it didn't come with bread so we had to order bread. One pita was $6. Overall we had a bowl of tabbouli, hummus, one pita loaf, and an appetizer of 5 meat pies all for $110. Which is ridiculous! The place was also filthy! Cob webs and dead bugs in the window right next to us. Plus the table that the waiter pulled next to us the put our good on was dirty! It had rings from glasses, crumbs and food. When we were done he pulled that same table without wiping it down to the table next to us and put their food on it. It was disgusting! We got up left and went to eat dinner at our hotel.
