One of the staff (I couldn't tell who was owner or staff between the two men, perhaps they were family) came to put in the wifi password in my phone. Menu is not long but perfect. I chose plat principal and dessert. The duck confit was 10/10, off the bone, perfect and delicious. I also had the chocolate mousse, which was great. Loved the art murals inside the restaurant and the general relaxed vibe in there. Will absolutely go back.

It got busy quickly with a waiting list. Prefix dinners - I got the famous chicken and my wife got the fish. It came with a generous appetizer, see pictures. My wife also got the chocolate mousse dessert. Overall the food was okay. My wife's entree was probably the better of the two. Ambiance - Small local restaurant. Tables squeezed next to each other with very little space in between. One unisex restroom. I did not use it, as our hotel was very close. I washed my hands at the hotel before coming here. It was all very good and the portions were large for the price. The orange sauce was unique and it seemed to have orange peels in it as well. While this might be more of a touristy spot with this location, it was a true French menu, which was my goal. The food and service were very good and I'll come back.

Me and a buddy spent a few days in Vence and dined a lot while we were here. Had several foie gras throughout the week and this place (although the foie gras itself is the same as the other restaurants) garnished it with very nice fruit and some greens. Paired well with the foie gras, making it not to rich and fatty. Totally recommend the beef fillet. Nice and juicy. And with a nice bottle of bourdeux, the beef just melts in your mouth. Depending on the time of year, the mosquitoes do become an annoyance if you're eating out in the patio while enjoying the views, so bring some bug spray (just in case).

I noticed that, for my American palette, the dishes were under salted, but they provided this wonderful herb salt with the main course that added a more luscious flavor to the steak I ordered. The avocado salad was simply amazing; the best dish I've had so far in France on this trip. Service was a bit rushed as the server seemed somewhat impatient with our bad French, but I can understand as they seemed to be understaffed. Bathrooms: very small, but beautifully decorated and very, very clean. I love the gold fish art piece and the bit of exposed stone wall. (See photos)
