Not quite sure why this seems to be listed twice, once as "Restaurant Schubert", and once as "Mediterran Schubert"? The official names seems to be "Café-Restaurant Schubert".
We had brilliant food but felt a bit ripped off. 5 Euro for a fruit juice with soda, 2.10 Euro for cover (some bread with spreads) per person, *independent* of whether one has any but then *still* charge extra for bringing some extra butter? In fact, we were three people, two of which had some of the bread and spread which was part of the "cover", and we ended up paying 5 cover charges.
They have a daily lunch time menu which is good value. A main dish plus a soup or desert for 8.90 Euro. When we asked if our 80-year old guest could have soup and desert instead (which surely must be cheaper for them), but perhaps a different soup, we were charged 12.90 Euro.
So, all in all, I was left with the feeling that they are doing all to fleece you for as much as it's worth.
That said, the food was very nice, and they have a very nice garden to sit in. read more
