Fantastic experience, worthy of both Michelin stars. I went for lunch and had a great tasting menu (veg option also). Small staff, very experienced waiter running the restaurant, quite personable, and the meal is served by the husband and wife team. Starts with two courses of amuse bouchée, all were excellent but I particularly loved the beef tartare with truffles on brioche. The first course was more of a farmers pate with great home made rye. Three further main courses, the halibut and scallops were both great. Two desserts, I enjoyed both but the yogurt on apples was truly incredible. I added a cheese plate, charged by how many cheeses you ordered, and was pleasantly surprised (no prices given) at how reasonable (2 pounds per cheese) it was. I loved the ambiance, everyone very friendly, more local bistro than Michelin star. Would love to visit again. read more
