Now known as Cafe Momo.
So much about this place is good.
I wandered in here at lunch and ordered a burger. The service was prompt and charming, I asked for water and there was no attempt to foister expensive bottled water onto me. The burger arrived reasonably quickly, giving me enough time to confirm that my 115kr burger would be served in a pleasant and clean environ.
The food arrived and looked beautiful. The chips/fries were drizzed in something that looked rather fancy with a pot of a gloopy (as it should be with burgers) with sauce. The burger itself was in a sandwich taller than any mouth could handle, nice looking veg and decent bread.
The toilets were good too.
It is a shame the burger was not very good. The sandwich was too big to fit in the mouth, the sauce a tad too sweet for my taste, and the burger itself was poor. It is a bad sign when they do not ask how you would like your burger done, it suggests it will be done from frozen. I was left with a feeling of too much salt for the rest of the afternoon.
Yet the place deserves a chance. It is reasonably cheap, clean and friendly. Just do not go for the burger (the chips were good). read more
