If you're anywhere near Piana, you must find an excuse to stop here for at least a glass of something on their terrace. I almost fainted when I saw the view. But since I didn't, I proceeded to snap pics in front of the worlds most ideal backdrop. It's a hotel + restaurant, but you can just pop in for a drink during sunset prime time. Drinks are shockingly affordable (wines for $7-10 glass). We decided to stay for dinner too, and the food was good -- not the best we had in France, but still impressive. Service was some of the most polished we experienced in Europe. Prepare for the celebrity treatment, without the celeb prices. Heaven!

Due to the heavy rush of people from the boat we waited for the first course to arrive and it took us almost 2 hours to finish the meal. So no time to look around or swim! The meal with entree, dessert, wine totaled 238 euros. But in our opinion well worth it!
