Oh ya know, it's just the most beautiful view I've seen in my LIFE, that's all. NBD. At this point, I should just direct you straight to the photos. If you're anywhere near Piana, you must find an excuse to stop here for at least a glass of something on their terrace. I almost fainted when I saw the view. But since I didn't, I proceeded to snap pics in front of the worlds most ideal backdrop. It's a hotel + restaurant, but you can just pop in for a drink during sunset prime time. Drinks are shockingly affordable (wines for $7-10 glass). We decided to stay for dinner too, and the food was good -- not the best we had in France, but still impressive. Service was some of the most polished we experienced in Europe. Prepare for the celebrity treatment, without the celeb prices. Heaven! read more

La vue est magique depuis cet hotel/restaurant du début du XXeme perche tout en haut du golfe de Porto. Le lieu est clairement défraîchi, mais le chef se donne du mal pour proposer des produits locaux agrémentés de façon créative : canelloni de gambas grillées et seiches, pagre croustillant et son risoto, veau de lait dauphinois, moelleux au chocolat façon opéra. le service est tres moyen, l'addition plutôt élevée (46 euros le menu) mais le tout vaut vraiment le détour pour un dîner au coucher du soleil read more
