Absolutely perfection! Service was pleasant and patient with our poor grasp of French. We ordered a mixt salad, simple but tasty, followed by a pappardelle du Chef and spaghettoni a'merciano (?) - both conversation stoppers and the best pastas we've had in some time, or if ever!!!
First of all, both pastas were cooked to perfection - just barely well done with a slight chew and texture to them both! The spaghetti sauce had tomato, Parmesan, black pepper & ?bacon. It only appeared to get better throughout the meal! Mine was the pappardelle with thin slices of beef fillet, chanterelle mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes cooked in a mouth drizzling olive oil! The flavoring couldn't have been better! Both sauces were nicely mopped up with their bread. Divine!
Highly recommend it! Not to mention, it's in a beautiful, romantic alley just down from Les Amures! read more
