It happened to be happy hour so I was able to take advantage of some great drink deals. For my dinner, I ordered the duck with vegetables, potatoes, and added a side of ratatouille. It was all very good and the portions were large for the price. The orange sauce was unique and it seemed to have orange peels in it as well. While this might be more of a touristy spot with this location, it was a true French menu, which was my goal. The food and service were very good and I'll come back.

From the outside, it's nondescript, I had to walk back to check that it was the right restaurant. They open at 7pm but the owner let me in early (6:44pm) and I had my meal by 6:58pm. Seven tables were taken by 7:16pm. I didn't make a reservation. One of the staff (I couldn't tell who was owner or staff between the two men, perhaps they were family) came to put in the wifi password in my phone. Menu is not long but perfect. I chose plat principal and dessert. The duck confit was 10/10, off the bone, perfect and delicious. I also had the chocolate mousse, which was great. Loved the art murals inside the restaurant and the general relaxed vibe in there. Will absolutely go back.

It got busy quickly with a waiting list. Prefix dinners - I got the famous chicken and my wife got the fish. It came with a generous appetizer, see pictures. My wife also got the chocolate mousse dessert. Overall the food was okay. My wife's entree was probably the better of the two. Ambiance - Small local restaurant. Tables squeezed next to each other with very little space in between. One unisex restroom. I did not use it, as our hotel was very close. I washed my hands at the hotel before coming here.
