My Airbnb hostess recommended it to me. It is everything that you think of with a classic German restaurant. They make their own beer, and it is delicious. The building is old and historic. The servers were both the nicest people and are passionate about their business. The waitress really went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. The prices were low because it is not touristy. It was a meal that I will never forget.

Although I enjoyed our seafood appetizer, the portion was a bit small for my liking - but that may be because I enjoyed it so much. Each piece of seafood was perfect. The scallops perfectly charred, and cooked to a perfect temperature. The octopus again with a nice char, seasoning and not overcooked - just perfect. The salmon tartare in the middle was packed with flavor, I wouldn't change a thing. My fish of the day was my least favorite dish. I loved the tomatoes which packed a lot of flavor, but the fish itself although good, was nothing special. I would definitely recommend a visit to Stresa if you're in the area - well worth the drive from central Dresden

The entrance and the dining room were really comforting. Furniture, lighting were all thoughtfully set. The food was incredible. Homemade bread could easily be my dinner.
