I'm pretty sure they are homemade. Bummer: fried pork were only 3 pieces the others the expected 4 pieces. So 2 had to share 1 piece. Crispy beef was really crispy and delicious. But you have to like that kind of dish. It sure isn't you're light kind of food and maybe a tad sweetish. I liked it. The duck in pepper sauce was good too. It was served with bell peppers, flavourful. We were surprised to find horse meat and that one was really good too. I don't remember what sauce it came with. I think Thai basil and bamboo shoots. I was keen on veggies therefore I chose the water spinach dish with beef. Of all the things we ordered I give this 4th place. They didn't add much spices and the beef was rather cooked in a light starchy sauce than pan fried. I usually prefer pan fried. If I had known that I would have chosen something else. But I didn't ask. So my bad. I just realised that except for the crispy beef we've all order from the specials menu. As dessert I suggested Vietnamese coffee because I love it and still don't consider it super heavy. And boy do they take their Vietnamese coffee serious! (In a positive way.) she explained how they were searching for options to make the preparation more convenient and faster but they were never satisfied with the flavour which is why they stuck with the traditional preparation. And it indeed does take 10 min until you can enjoy it but they are worth it. I found it very practical how they label food that takes longer to prepare. 20 minutes wait for dumplings, 10 for Vietnamese coffee, Beijing duck has to be preordered 24h at least. Following this we ordered the dumplings for starters and then continued to study the menus for our main course. The Vietnamese coffee we ordered right after we've licked our plates clean (not literally) which is why we didn't have to wait a lot. (Yes, we were on a tight schedule.) I'd say food wise this place is half Chinese half Vietnamese. Plus it profits from being influenced by two worlds: perfectly organised, clean, precise (Swiss) and of course the asian food and cordial wait staff (Vietnamese). Oh, the lime drink we started with was very good, too. There's plenty of tables inside but you can also sit outside.

I went here for lunch a couple of times. Service is friendly and efficient. Options on the lunch…read moremenu are varied enough. Had the chicken sate which was nice and on another occasion, yellow chicken curry which had too much vegetables. I like it.
