And it surely was -- the croissants and pastries are fresh and flakey; the desserts rich; the chocolates bonbons are incredible flavour explosions with complex layers of flavour -- passionfruit, cassis, and raspberry amongst our favourites. Third, the gravy was really well done, and you can't have great poutine without getting the gravy right. It had a rich (but not too rich) flavour to it, and a nice viscosity. And finally, fourth, the portions were generous! I had the classic poutine, but they had the usual varieties you see in this region, including smoked meat and shrimp (crevettes).
