We found this quaint gem of a restaurant on our last night in Colmar. We had 5 people in our group and were seated by restaurant staff at around 7pm without any reservations (very easy compared to other restaurants in the area most of which require advance reservations). The staff was very helpful in explaining the menu and dishes of the day to our group in English. We ordered the smoked salmon salad, chorizo risotto and salmon risotto, which were all delicious and tasted like home made food. This was a great change to some of the heavier locally known dishes. We also saw some locals done at the restaurant so we knew this is a popular spot. Would definitely recommend this for dinner to anyone visiting Colmar. read more
