Really tasty burrito! I was with two buddies, and we each got the same thing - Big Boy Burrito…read more That & a bottle of beer was CHF20. Really not bad for this expensive town. Don't be scared off by their "Ring of Fire" sauce. Not too spicy for us three Americans, since we're a bit more accustomed to picante, being Norteamericanos. Nice bright decor, in a newer development about 20 min via train from the Hauptbahnhof. Lots of space, and the toilets are tres chic. We ended up staying about 2 1/2 hours chatting, and the owner (as well as his employees) were exceptionally cordial. He told us he worked in finance in Zurich for seven years, then felt he should do something legal. ¡I'm definitely returning to Zapote!

Oh yes! Zapote has been said to have the best burritos in town, and while I don't agree that…read morethey're exactly *in town*, they certainly have some of the most awesomest burritos I have ever tasted in ZH! My husband and I came here after a friend recommended the place. They have a huge array of different burritos and burrito bowls, all of them customizable. I had the chicken salad, which is essentially a burrito salad but a little lighter and my husband had a gaucho burrito, with beef and bacon. Both dishes were incredibly delicious. The salad featured a peanut dressing and fresh guacamole and the burrito a generous helping of meat and barbeque sauce. Soooo good! I like that they offer healthier alternatives in addition to the staple burritos and the restaurant is so nice and open. In addition, the staff is very patient, helpful and upbeat. It was a thoroughly good experience. Another reviewer wrote that they were a little like subway. I don't like this comparison because Zapote's ingredients are actually really fresh, their staff is upbeat and knowledgeable and their food is actually tasty. A small problem for me is the location, which is really not easy to get to and their opening times. They only open from 11 to 15 o'clock and are closed on the weekends. Basically, they only open for the lunch crowd. Their delivery radius is also not extended enough that they could actually deliver into the city which is a bit of a bummer. I guess I now have more reasons to go to Wallisellen more frequently :)

First time in Zurich and only staying for a few days prior to exploring the rest of Switzerland…read more That said, keep in mind there will be no other Indian/Pakistani food experience for me; comparisons to others in the area will not be made. In terms of value - 5- we had buffet style dinner and it comes with at least 7 hot dishes and a nice but limited spread of salad, dessert and yogurt. Most meals I find out here is averaging 30-45 CHF for a $$-$$$ restaurants. USD conversion is almost one to one so that is something to consider when eating in Zurich. Being an all-you-can eat situation for less than 30 CHF is a mind-blowing surprise. In terms of taste - 4- there is nothing to complain for the quality and freshness. We entered the restaurant at 9 so the rice was a little dried but everything else tasted as good as you will get from an Indian restaurant compared to Los Angeles market where most of my Indian meals were consumed. The standard chicken masala (#1 option for me), chicken Tandoori, lamb curry, Dahl, fried fish, mixed veggies with spices were amongst the hot menu. The Gulaab Jamun (Indian doughnut) was a nice finisher for the meal. With other mild flavored food I had in earlier Swiss/German restaurants, the savory food at Sahan was a welcomed change of pace. In terms of service - 5 - ditto to all the other great reviews about the wonderful mannered service team. Overall - worth the money for food with spices considering your location and options. Would recommend for those looking to be slightly out of the busy city and not looking to sight see after the meal. 4.5 vote from me. Thanks for the bang for the Franc experience.. we only spent a bit over $100 for dinner and cokes for 3.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and extremely spacious. If you get a chance , speak to Naveed, he is extremely kind, hospitable and fun. We had the lunch buffet and were able to have Halwa Puri, a traditional Pakistani breakfast. If you are anywhere in the area come here, even if you are miles away, come here. The chicken and goat was amazing, tender and fresh. This felt like a home away from home.

The theme of the event was USA meets Italy to offer food from both countries. Not just something new for Andulino's Chef Reto but also for the guests at the drool table, who were privileged to try his new cooking style. We were joined by Reto later this evening where he not just asked how the food was but also told us his motivation and story behind it. I liked this, it adds a very personal touch to the experience. Since Reto never prepared buffalo chicken before I was even more excited to taste his new creation. I was surprised it tasted great and you could still note a hint of Reto signature sweetness in the mix . Besides the nice and crunchy marinade around the chicken was tender and juicy. Usually not a big fan of chicken wings but here it was totally different, I couldn't get enough of it. Just one improvement, which I also mentioned to Reto it could be more spicier next time, even one that is extra spicy if it's just for me hehe. Besides the cooking the service was impeccable, and we got even more drinks as originally promised from @letsdrool - so nice! What a great way to attract and bind long term customers. Let's not forget the social aspects, which is another strength of drool's concept besides offering food you never got before at their partners location. Food & drinks is a great way to connect people and it's always nice to meet new likeminded individuals and get to know them. Big thanks to the Andulino team and their Chef Reto and last but not least drool for making this happen! Already looking forward to the next event at Andulino and for the buffalo chicken on their menu. on the italian side besides pizzas there's pasta with a hint of tomato sauce, pesto and burrata cheese on top. I want more of the buffalo wings for more food experiences check out my instagram in my profile.
