I have dined here three times. The food is solid and the service is great. Here is a review based on food alone:
- Kalbsrahmgulasch - excellent. The meat melts in your mouth and the sauce is just right - not too heavy or salty or strong. The spaetzle are home made and delicious.
- Wienerschnitzel - very good, considering we are not in Vienna. It comes in two varieties - pork and chicken. Both are good and tender. You can taste the butter that it was pan-fried in. Comes with fries - tasty.
- Vegetable risotto - very good. Made al dente, with a fantastic risotto sauce. Initially I was skeptical about it, but it was excellent.
- Schweinfiletspitzen - average. Pork on top of rice in a tomato chili sauce. I'd skip this dish.
- Soups - had the tomato soup and the traditional beef soup - both are good on a cold winter day.
- Crepes - good.
Good restaurant and definitely worth visiting over and over. read more
