The only way I could describe it is it felt like a hug. A comforting hug after a day hiking in the cold. Both dishes just felt like something your grandma would make for you when you visited. Lovely location with a great view and very cozy, homey feel. I saw that two tables ordered fondue so that's available as well. The carrot cake was the perfect way to end the meal. We thanked the chef profusely for the meal, it has really stood out for us as one of the best meals we had on our trip! We tried to eat there a second time but pay close attention to when the kitchen closes. Don't miss out because you were a little late!

We tried to be hospitable and nice to the owner, but they responded with indifference, short temper, and annoyance. Insanely rude service, especially from the chef. Yeah, I understand, the prices in Switzerland are crazy expensive, but I wouldn't feed this food to my dog. Not worth $30 a dish. My tip? Don't go. We liked everything we ordered . The iced coffee was perfect. Really liked the ice cream flavors, we got the mango,caramel and strawberry. Overall the food was flavorful and the portions sizes were good. One thing I do find strange is that once we get the servers bring the food, nobody ever comes to check to see if you need anything, they just disappear. It's not just this restaurant but almost all the restaurants we visited in Switzerland. I took a star off because of that. Once lunch was done, I had to go in and find them to pay for the lunch and leave. The servers are nowhere to be found. If travel internationally just use you Apple Pay or credit card to pay. You don't need to carry around local currency.
