In fact, we suspect they had some kind of secret X-ray that could read our tastebuds and made our meal accordingly. The pork medallions were seared on the outside yet softly pink inside. Moist does not begin to describe it. The goat cheese salad was a perfect blend of light yet deep flavored vinaigrette and the cheese held its own after being spanked on the grill. They appeared to have a wide selection of wines and other drinks, although most were drinking beer, as it is, after all, Prague. The ambience was perfect for an established Italian restaurant with more waiters than people, when we arrived and busy, busy waiters when we left for our hotel.

We walked in without a reservation and waited about 15 minutes for a table for two. Reasonable prices for wine and DELICIOUS pasta. I had the cannelloni with truffle and meat on recommendation from our server, and was not disappointed. The sauce was perfectly creamy, and the pasta really did taste fresh! It was the most expensive meal I had in Prague, and while the food was good, for these prices, I expect to either be really impressed by the food or to have particularly special service or ambiance. Because I didn't have a reservation, I was seated in the entry hallway; the ambiance may be a little nicer in the downstairs dining room. I had the spinach tagliatelle, tiramisu, and a lime iced tea. I thought the candied walnuts in the pasta were interesting and I really liked the dish. The tiramisu was good but not a standout, though I liked how the bitterness of the espresso came through. Lime iced tea was pretty sweet and more lime than tea, but it was nice even if it wasn't what I expected. If you don't care too much about prices, this is a good place, I just think there are comparatively good Italian restaurants at a better price if you go a little further from the major tourist areas.
