The bathroom has an Alice in Wonderland theme. Our server was very helpful with the large menu and she recommended the rye flour soup and a Polish beer for me. The soup has sausage, bacon, and potatoes and was very good!! We ordered the dumplings that were stuffed like a Big Mac. They were delicious. Cookies and other sweet things are also delicious here. The beer is also great and suits a place like this. Try the polish brands! And finally the food is great as well. I think they only serve Polish dishes. The only problem is that the menu is entirely in Polish. But the friendly staff did a good translation with a smile so the problem was not that big. The interior is really fantastic and unique. They have collected tons of old stuff from a time period that is no more. The things have a beautiful touch of patina from an interesting history. There seems to be new people working here every now and then. I went here every day on my last visit to Gdansk. Everyone from the staff were really nice and service minded. Each time was a pleasure to go here, because of the staff, the cool atmosphere and the food. I can highly recommend this very special place, but don't tell everyone, it's best kept as a secret! :)

Joking aside, this place was really delicious and a nice change of pace from Polish cuisine. It's pretty different actually, with a level of spice that isn't explosive or anything but still can have significantly more heat than you're likely to find in the local food.
