Anyway! I got to eat at the restaurant attached to the museum and I thought the food was going to be just alright. Well, it was more than alright! The food was great, and the beer was better! I absolutely loved the pivo (beer). The food was also very tasty-of course a little heavier as accustomed in Czech Republic! If you do have a chance to visit the museum and factory, make sure you stop the be restaurant to get a meal and a pivo of course!!

We were staying at the RRC for the weekend so the first night we decided to eat here in the hotel…read more We ordered the carpaccio, pork loin, chicken Caesar salad and venison. Everything was delicious!!! So delicious in fact that we decided to come AGAIN the second night! This time we had the venison pate, steak, chicken Caesar (again) and the venison again. Because I had the venison the previous night as well I asked if it were possible to have different potatoes and perhaps a berry sauce on the side. The chef graciously obliged and made a wild blueberry sauce for the venison that was AMAZING!! Great food, great service...wish we didn't have to leave in the morning!

Visited in November 2014 for lunch…read more Most people here speak Czech, but there is one lady who speaks English. She was very helpful. I ordered a salami baguette and a box of 4 pastries for a friend. They packaged it neatly into a white box and tied it together with a cute string. The salami sandwich was delicious. There was a perfect combination of cheese and salami. The wifi was free and very fast. Overall, a very comfortable location, delicious food, and great pastries. It is also very busy with locals, so the locals love it too!

well, it is to be expected that obviously you won't get any authentic sushi in budejovice, but this…read morewas beyond bad - but not terrible. I ordered 6 pieces of the sake nigiri, and as i got my food, there were so many red flags ringing. First, the rice is wayyy too thick and big for me to put the whole thing in my mouth in one bite - which is generally how you eat sushi. Even splitting the rice and eating half was a mouthful. Besides that, they are very stingy with the salmon and it only so covers a length of the rice to cover the rice's modesty. In addition to that, the fish itself was cut veryyy thin. On the plus side, It didn't give me food poisoning, so i guess i'll give it that. But seeing as the owners aren't japanese (which the czechs don't really care about), i feel that they might have better success if they had actually served their own local cuisine, seeing as they do not know how to make japanese food (there was even one bulgogi dish that they misspelled as "bulogogi"!) i know that i might be nitpicking, but for those looking to eat some decent/good sushi and such, do NOT go here or any sushi place in CB as they will more or less taste the same; just bland.
