My family just tried to have dinner here shortly after 9 pm and was turned away by the restaurant,…read morewith the hostess my dad encountered saying, "No, no, no" when he requested a table for five, despite there being empty tables. Thinking it may have been a language issue, we spoke to the hotel receptionist, who said the restaurant wasn't closed (as per the hours here, which state it's open until 11 pm). They called and conferred with the restaurant, and ultimately we were told that the restaurant was "full." After we were turned away, we saw another family of four leaving the dining area. I'm guessing this had something to do with the fact that we're brown, as I noticed someone staring at us out of the window as we walked away. Foreigners beware, xenophobia is apparently alive and well in the Czech countryside.
