It was probably the cleanest public bathroom I've ever seen. It seemed to have been cleaned right before we got there because the smell of cleaning supplies was out the door! No paper towels to dry our hands but there was an electrical dryer. There is a changing table also that is similar to the ones you find at airports (not the hanging plastic one). Outside, there are multiple vending machines as well as tables and benches to eat on. The whole area is very well kept. The organization that is managing this area is doing such a great job! First of all the common green area is very long great for walking pets or yourself. There are sidewalks all the way to end on either side of car and truck parking. There are covered and uncovered tables spaced out in the area, watch out for bird nests above. The restroom building has many toilets so no waiting during high traffic times. There is a visible maintenance person roaming the grounds. About 4 vending machines mix of drinks and snacks. Usually these rest areas in SC are no where this large for parking and green areas so I have rated based on this. The trash cans are not overflowing, no ant hills in the grass, well kept.

It was before 5 and a lady was in there but when I told her I was local and had never stopped at this particular rest area she seemed less interested in helping me but perhaps she just isnt friendly period, idk. And I'm not saying that I'm subscribing to this notion, however this Circle K was quite the place to stop to gas up and make some roadstop purchases. Sandwiches, fixings bar, ice cream, large soft drink dispensers -- all sparkling clean, all modern all well maintained. Snacks galore from cookies to power bars, chips, dips -- if you could name it, they likely had it.

This one although older was very clean during our stop. I rarely use the facilities at these rest areas when traveling in the RV, but after walking around to get the blood flowing again after driving for a number of hours I did here. The restrooms were spic n span clean I will say it didn't appear that the traffic was very heavy through the area so your experience may differ depending on what day and time it is. There are plenty of Truck and RV parking spaces and the same can be said for the car side, with easy access from either parking area. If you have a need to take a break this one should work well for you...

I never stop at them when traveling alone, but my husband prefers them because it's easy to get on and off the interstate. He was driving, so I obliged. This rest stop, like most in South Carolina, is dated and needs some TLC. The bathrooms have few stalls and sinks, which is an issue for buses or groups of travelers. Waiting in line is no fun. A van covered in religious stickers was parked outside the bathrooms, along with an evangelist (eVANgelist) wearing a Trust Jesus shirt standing creepily. We took care of our bathroom business, then got back on I-95 as soon as possible. The one positive is that my husband said the men's room was clean.
