I think it might be helping reduce sore muscles, I just can't tell yet ( sore since last weekend workouts;) I read some research in Cryotherapy last night...it's said to likely burn up to 800 calories after one 3 min session due to the blood vessels rushing from the protected core to all the areas once you're out. I went to Max in late Jan or Feb with a painful case of frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis). He said it was among the worst cases he'd seen. After six months of his care and coaching, I am thrilled that I am nearly back to 100% of normal range. (Typically it takes 12-24 months to resolve.)
