We went with a four hour rental for the first half of the day and had a great time before the sun got too hot. Brindley did a great job providing instructions, giving insight on which direction to head for more adventure vs party environment, and making sure that we could connect our music to the Bluetooth sound system. The boat had plenty of benches for everyone to sit and ample storage to keep bags and towels dry. There's plenty of parking near the dock and the staff were all eager to help carry coolers and large bags to the boat. To speed up your check in process, remind your group to complete the online waiver ahead of time and make sure all of your designated drivers have their driver's license in hand. Overall, five stars!

We had a crew of five celebrating our birthday girl turning FIVE, and Captain Charles made sure she felt like the queen of Lake Travis! Captain Charles wasn't just our captain--he was our photographer, videographer, DJ, entertainer, and all-around memory maker. He took so many pictures and videos while we were swimming and playing that we could actually put our phones away and enjoy the day. Talk about VIP service! Huge shoutout to Gage and Parker, too! They had everything on the boat ready to go, including BRAND NEW speakers that kept the party going all day. And let's talk about that slide... according to our 5-year-old, it was the greatest invention in human history. She would have happily slid into next week if we'd let her! Captain Charles kept everything fun, safe, and stress-free while making sure we had an unforgettable day. From start to finish, the entire experience was first class, and our family made memories we'll be talking about for years. Emerald Point won our business because they have the most flexible service and pricing. For $190 a month, our boat lives in dry stack storage, and we simply call the marina and let them know we will use the boat, and they put it in the water for us. It's like a boat valet! I feel so important! Another great service is their on site mechanic. Again, all I have to do is call and say, "Hey can you do this to the boat" or "Can you do that to the boat" and they call the marina, the marina gets the boat to the shop, then they put it away, and I am ready to go! If I want to work on the boat, they will put the boat on a work station for me. It is really sweet. Plus, we get 10% off at Carlos and Charlies and the at the boat shop. Not too shabby.

I have to admit Steve is a great captain and instructor. The whole process to rent the boat and kayaks is very easy. Just make sure you reserve in advance. Prices are also reasonable than other places. We enjoyed the kayaks again and had a great time on the boat ride with everything that's included. The views in this area of the lake are amazing and not crowded. Steve and his son were very nice and welcoming as well.

The parking lot is opposite to the boating office and it's a short walk from the lot. There's a long staircase to go down to the marina to get into the boat. The instructions before getting on and driving the boat were clear. We had a great time on the pontoon this weekend. You can usually give them a call if you need to extend the time and if there's no other bookings after yours, they are usually happy to oblige.

We are not experienced boaters, but that wasn't an issue because the staff provided a quick training on how to drive the boat. Unlike many other company's renting boats in the area, you can rent for an hour if you want. Many other require 3-4 hour minimums, which can get pricey, especially if you'd prefer a short excursion. There is free parking there and the pontoon we rented had a bluetooth system for playing music too. You can't beat their prices, so overall value is A+ in my book. If I'm in the ATX area again, I'll return.

I've been a member for 4 or 5 years and have nothing but great things to say about the club. I owned boats for over 10 years and as a single female, most of my girlfriends couldn't back a trailer or help me with getting the boat in the water so I was usually doing it all by myself (which isn't easy with a 22+ foot boat). When I was with a guy who didn't know how to do those things it was awkward. Plus, owning and storing a boat as nice as the club has was more than twice as expensive. I've been tempted to buy a boat again a few times over the past few years but every time I walk up to a boat at Volente Boat Club that is already on the lake and ready to go.....and then I get off the boat and never have to clean or maintain it......well, that's an easy decision. I will say that the dock hands get to know you and it feels good to walk up with a group of friends and be greeted by name and treated like you are valued. It strokes the ego a bit. Also, in all of the years as a member I've never had problems getting a reservation.....and I'm really bad about waiting until the last minute to book. In fact, today I called them up around 11 and said I would be out there some time between 2-3 and they got me right on a boat. At the end of the day, Alex, the manager saw my son and I walking to the parking lot (which is the only downside.....but great exercise) and he told us to jump in his car and gave us a ride up the hill to where we were parked. That is customer service. :) I love the club and it's really the best way to enjoy a carefree lake experience.
