Melissa Michael is an outstanding teacher of pottery. Her expertise and patience are a perfect mix…read moreto teach her students. I have been taking classes for two years at a community studio, but my first 9 hours with Melissa was life-changing for me in this craft. I was able to refine my skills to create better pieces. Her attention to details is passed on to her students. But, and this is important--she teaches you the "how" for each piece. She is explicit in her instruction. This explicit and individual instruction is major when creating pottery, as there are so many steps, techniques, skills, and small, important details needed to be successful in pottery. I then met with her for another 6 hours and made a teapot--incorporating many pottery skills. My experiences with clay have been a roller coaster, as this craft is simple and complex at the same time. My time as a student of Melissa has been one of my best pottery experiences.

One of the things that really stands out is how much our grandson has learned. For just 2 1/2 years old, he already knows so much, and it's clear the staff puts real effort into helping the children grow and develop. A special thank you to Miss Shannon--she is truly wonderful. She is caring, patient, and goes above and beyond to make sure the children feel comfortable and supported. It's clear she loves what she does. They also bring in lots of special guests, which keeps things fun and exciting for the kids and gives them new experiences beyond the classroom. Overall, we're very pleased and would definitely recommend Lightbridge Academy to other families looking for a caring and engaging environment.

My son is autistic and has had a fantastic experience with Wrightstown Friends. The other children…read moreare very kind to him. The teachers are fantastic. If I had neuro-typical child, this school would be my first choice because their teaching method is truly the best at developing young minds. I need to note that my son attended this school with a highly trained aid. There are 18 kids in a classroom with 3 teachers. It is unfair and unrealistic to expect extra time be given to any one student on a daily basis. My son's participation worked at this school because his aid ensured that he was not a constant disruption to the classroom. The teachers were incredibly supportive of my son and his aid; he eventually worked seamlessly into the classroom with minimal assistance from his aid. Overall, this is a fantastic school. If your child has special needs, this school can be fantastic....but they cannot be expected to "treat" a child beyond that which a normal, non special education teacher, would do. However, they were very willing to work with my son and his aid, to the extent that it did not interfere with the other children. I found their approach very reasonable. Fun Side Note: The teachers were so happy with my son's aid that they sent her flowers at the end of the school year. She was really touched (as was I).

Before becoming a parent I saw the insides of many preschool classrooms working with early intervention. I've never seen a school with this atmosphere and kids really do learn how to be a friend. The yellow box is an amazing concept. It changes every week for imaginative play. It could be a boat , a store, a cave... so many fun things that get the kids learning and playing together. Not many schools use the materials they use for learning. They have a work bench where the children can hammer and saw. The playground has a big sandbox, lots of swings, natural climbing surfaces and more fun things to do. Its nice to be able to stay and play afterward. You get to know the classmates and family of the class. I can't recommend it enough.

Some advice is instead of calling former customers liars who could have potentially given you and your chain positive future reviews, you should try giving feedback that is professional . We constantly tell people that sending our children to your school was one of the best decisions we have ever made as parents. Our daughter has grown immensely from the education and structure received since her start and we thank you for that. We look forward to her continued growth and the progression of our sons development as he begins. Additionally we respect the discipline, level of instruction and experience that all of the staff offer to our children through their variety of learning engagements. The staff is not only supportive, friendly and caring but are committed to educating our children vs the common "babysitting" practice we experienced with prior Childcare facilities. Lastly we have great comfort in knowing this is a safe school with implemented safety technology/procedures that are executed daily giving us the assurance our children are in safe hands during the day. A huge thank you again for running a great progam and to the operation of a safe and educating childcare facility. Brian and Carly
