On December 24th, 2025 we had a home inspection for plumbing. From the beginning conversation to the ending of the property plumbing inspection, Vince remained professional. Services done : Dec. 2024 - Jan. 2025 My husband and I recently put an offer on our 1st older home, [1953] and we're a bit nervous as older homes tend to hide big issues. We were lucky enough to meet and work with Vince of Residential Inspection LLC. He immediately contacted us via phone to introduce himself and was extremely friendly and personable when we met with him at the house. We had to have 2 inspections done due to some work that was needed by the owner's but Vince didn't hesitate to squeeze us into his busy schedule. We hired this company to do our plumbing camera work. We were out of area but he made an exception because he did my sister's house. The camera couldn't go through our system. They recommended we install a clean out. We did. After a year of trying to get this company to return and finish the camera work we paid for, no one has called or texted back after multiple calls from my husband and I. We are going to have to pay someone else the same $300! Very disappointed! read more

I had originally posted a very positive review on our inspection, as Vince did take a lot of time and did answer all our questions. However, we did end up having several frustrating issues with our almost new home and his follow-up skills to even attempt to guide us in the right direction for repairs and advice was almost completely avoided. Are these 5 star reviews fake? I am a Realtor and buyer who contacted Vince 10 days in advance. Since I am new to the area I was relying on reviews to choose a home inspector. When I spoke to Vince I asked him if he covered Winter Garden and he said yes. I sent him the address of the home. He said he would start researching it and confirmed he had the address. Because of his "busy" schedule he wasn't able to fit in the inspection till 2 days before the end of our inspection period. The Sunday before our scheduled inspection I texted to follow up with Vince. A few hours later he responds that he cannot do the inspection as he did not realize it was in Winter Garden. This is either a complete lie or complete incompetence. I have a text where he said he looked up the house address several days ago. Coincidentally after giving me this ridiculous excuse as to why he had to cancel last minute, knowing for 10 days we were down to the last couple days of the inspection period, he also informed me he was out of town with family. This is unprofessional and irresponsible and put us in a very tight spot on a Sunday afternoon scrambling to find another inspector with a 2 day window left. I cannot imagine I am the only person Vince has done this to. I hope this review can help prevent another victim from hiring this incompetent company. read more

The inspector did not want any input or receipts of before and after photos of remodeling our home. We have basically gutted the home and all new improvements but this company did not want to hear anything of it. Also does not return phone calls, definitely find someone else. read more

We are the home sellers, so while this was annoying, and frustrating, it really impacted the buyers who had to spend extra money due to a bogus inspection report. The inspector met us after the inspection with the buyers, mentioned needing a new hot water heater, but otherwise "everything else looks great". We immediately replaced the hot water heater. The report came in two days later and looked like a train wreck. He mentioned cracks in our tile roof and a dangerous electrical problem. The buyers hired an electrician and a roof specialist. Both rolled their eyes, and said roof is in great condition as is electric. On top of the inspection they laid out close to 500 more for no reason whatsoever. Thankfully my realtor, and theirs has crossed him off the list of inspectors they recommend. read more

I was looking for a home inspection so I called around to price match to see who could do it the quickest,Vince was the one I dealt with who was able to get to the home I want inspected. He was the cheapest and most reliable out of the others I called, he even was able to go out on the weekends to to inspections. Price wise he was the cheapest because he had a deal going on for $250 and his report was pretty good and accurate and he is able to be contacted when needed. read more

Vince was very professional. He was courteous enough to change our appointment at last minute at our request. He was on time and called in advance to inform us of the vehicle he would be driving and identified that he would be wearing his uniform with logo. He took the time to explain the different types of inspections. He offered to contact and email our inspection results to our home owners insurance and our loan officer, if needed.
