Well long story short my washers main component went bad. We've been doing laundry at the laundromat for two months, finally decided it was time to call for a repair. After reaching out on Yelp I received several reply's from various washer repair businesses. After reading reviews and pricing I choose to call Reset Appliance. From the first call, I received star treatment regarding my situation which made the planning and repair seamless. Rick and one of the techs showed up, did the diagnosis and quote. The main replacement part only took 2 days. Keep in mind if you're searching for parts on your own, there are many cheap prices but looking at the fine print these cheaper parts are refurbished NOT new. Rick ordered the part brand new and his associate showed up on Saturday and replaced the part and just like that I'm not spending 38$ at the laundromat!!! Relieved. My washing machine broke and they were able to come check out the problem and provide me a diagnosis same day. They responded promptly and were up front about their pricing ($49 for a service call, that can be applied to any work needed). Ultimately, our technician recommended that we just get a new washing machine. This is because the price of the broken part, plus the cost of labor, would be almost as much as just buying a new machine. I appreciated the honesty. He also made sure to completely clean up after himself and answered all the questions that I had. These guys are incredible and completely saved my Behind. I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year - guests from out of town and country. Tickets booked. Reservations made. November 3rd - my oven dies. Gone. Nothing. I have a home warranty (yes, waste of money). Call them, alert them and highlight the urgency. At this point 25 days until Thanksgiving. Sparing all the detail about how awful home warranties and their contractors are - Sunday Nov 24th, they finally repair my oven. Except, it still doesn't work. They have to go back and file another claim. With 4 days left, I search Yelp and find Caspi and am able to schedule them to come in that evening. The owner and one of his techs both came over, a full hour diving into every component to make a diagnosis and identify the faulty part. They ordered from my house, around 7 at night. It delivered on Tuesday and they came at 8pm to complete the job. These guys get it. They're high quality, committed, incredibly polite, thorough and empathetic. On a Sunday night , we noticed our freezer was not making ice. We didn't know if was the fridge giving up, or just the ice maker. Fortunately we discovered Reset Appliance. We talked to a delightful lady on the phone who told us they could have a technician at our home between 6 and 8. Roy arrived on time and got right to work.. luckily it was the ice maker that had died and not the whole fridge. He said he could bring a new one on Monday. reset appliance $69 for a service charge. The repair man told me that the motor was out on my dishwasher and wanted to charge me $400. The still under so Samsung came out. There was nothing wrong with the dishwasher at all, the air hose was clogged. Reset appliance should refund me the $69 that they charged me. read more

Our dishwasher was leaking all over our kitchen floor. We were able to book by phone at 9:45 pm for a 9 -11 am appointment the following morning. On 9/30/24, I used Caspi Pro to diagnose my Samsung refrigerator after talking with Rick. I thought the compressor was not working and the tech (Mira?) that came out confirmed that it was the compressor. He said he would be back the next day and install a new compressor. Trouble started when he asked for 50% of the estimated cost. I contacted Rick to complain and he stated that there was no compressor and he had to order one from Sacramento and I would have to wait till 10/3. I agreed to that and a lessor deposit. Tech arrived at 5pm and installed compressor but all the wires and tubes wouldn't fit back into the bottom and the cover plate didn't fit anymore. Then tech started shoving, pushing, and touching the circuit board with a tool and the board died. The refrigerator was receiving electricity before the service call, the outside lights by the dispenser were lit and the lights inside worked. Tech spent a lot of time talking on the phone to Rick. He didn't know what to do. Then he handed me his phone and Rick said buy a new refrigerator and you can have the deposit back minus $49. It was already after 8pm. I then had to buy a new refrigerator that I hadn't planned on doing. Further, the credit card charge was not in the name of Caspi Pro but Py Pro-tech Appliance Repair. Caspi Pro's address was 8650 Lake ashmere dr and now it is 7965 Silverton Ave. I do not understand the 5 star rating that I relied on when I chose this company. The tech did not adequately assess the problem, and because of his actions another component broke. And Rick still thought I deserved to pay for a service call. read more
