Unless you're an important  VIP executive and have a well versed knowledge of the limo industry, steer clear of this company. I contacted them to get a quote for a limo for my kids prom. Everything was fine, the price seemed fair and we moved forward. When the day arrived, a black SUV pulls up instead of a limo. When i contacted them to ask the reason there wasn't a limo there, i was told that i don't understand the definition of what a limo is these days and i should have known from the price what kind of car i was getting. I'm not a frequent limo rider but when i think limo for prom, I'm not picturing a black SUV.  The rest of the unprofessional interaction played out through text (pictures attached). I asked why would i pay for a limo when a SUV showed up, and i was told the miscommunication was my fault. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a limo when i called a limo service.  For anyone thinking of using this company, just know they don't even have any limos available. It is only SUVs so if you're not an important doctor, lawyer,  or executive then don't expect anything else from them.  I truly feel i was ripped off with the old bait and switch. The plan was to give my kid and their friends a memorable experience for this once in a lifetime senior prom. The service was provided and i was willing to pay an adjusted amount for the lack of a limo since at that point, we had no other options. However, when we texted about it the next day, Dave the owner was a wittle crabby from his trip to Europe (which he had to mention as if it pertained to the conversation what so ever). He was completely unreasonable, and accusatory. He called me cheap and went on and on about his important clients and demanded full payment because i was dumb to expect a limo from a limo service.  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves but if you're just normal folk, don't bother with fireman's LIMO service. The police cited him and told me he did not have a valid license. His insurance has been very dodgy and is giving my insurance company a hard time. The scary thing is: I saw him driving around about a week after the accident with the busted up van and a *child* in the passenger seat! Very sketchy... When we called him to have him come get us, we got an earful about how we were wasting his time by making him come back and that we should have made him wait. Strike 1. We then got in after being lectured about how he is the taxi driver and knows best about all things taxi, and on the way out we picked up a man who was sketchy at best. He got in the same taxi as us and this is when our concerns began. What made it worse however, was the fact that our taxi driver (who I believe owns the business) then circled the McDonald's next door, heckling teenagers outside about if they needed rides and not leaving them alone to the point that they were visibly uncomfortable. Strike 2. We finally began on our way to our destination only 2 miles away, and when we noticed that this taxi driver was going in the opposite direction of our stop (did I mention he didn't a meter or a GPS?) We were a little concerned. Turns out, he decided to let our sketchy friend get the first stop on the other side of town first before dropping us off, even though we got in the taxi first. Strike 3. Finally, after reaching our destination that should've been maximum a $10 ride (which is being generous on our end for a 2 mile ride) he charged us $10 PER PERSON, totaling out to $20 for what should have been a very simple ride. This taxi service is not one that should be trusted or used when in Sandusky. I know that there are VERY few options (and no Uber) but I promise that this service is not the way to go.

After booking I was kept informed by email and text to the date, pick-up time, and also to verify the agreed upon price. I had booked the service two weeks ahead of the concert date and I was kept informed that everything was on track and the vehicle would be there as we had arranged. The day before I was emailed with the drivers name and again assured that they would be there at the specified time. The day of the service I was emailed and texted that the driver, John was in route. John arrived early, introduced himself and asked if we needed anything special. He was very professional, friendly, and the vehicle was immaculate. John transported by wife and her friend to Rocket Arena and gave them his phone number in case they needed to contact him for any reason. He also told them where he would be once the concert was over and exactly what exit to come out of. Once the concert was over he texted by wife to reaffirm where he was at and inform her he was waiting. They exited, got in the vehicle and John brought them back. Both my wife and her friend praised John saying how courteous, professional, and attentive he was. I have been looking for a limousine service for well over two years as the company I used to use was purchased and the new owners are far from professional and their equipment is not dependable. Statement Limousine has ended my search, they are now my go to service for executive car and limousine transportation. If you need a limousine or car transportation you can't go wrong calling Statement Limousine, you will not be disappointed!

Even with a breeze and a light mist, it was pretty hot with the sun beating down. The ferry seemed clean and there was plenty of seating on a Monday. Sounds like the weekends may be a different story though. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful and it was easier to swap our return ticket for a different departure time. It is a bit pricey, but it lets you off right in the center of the downtown area and my thinking is that it just saves on golf cart rental if you don't plan on going too far (which we didn't for our brief visit).
