It has honestly taken me longer to sit down and write this review than it took Emmanuel and his crew to complete a massive front and backyard overhaul for us. Their team landscaped our front yard and park strip--carefully preserving our existing rose bushes and mature trees--handled a large two-tree removal, poured concrete, and installed pavers, turf, and gate posts (and will be back to install shade sail posts soon). Early on, I hesitated because I had trouble visualizing the final design. Emmanuel patiently came back to our home multiple times to walk through the layout and incorporate my ideas until I felt 100% confident moving forward. The contract was exceptionally clear, with straightforward milestones tied directly to the payment schedule. I can't say enough good things about his crew. They showed up promptly every day from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, kept the job site remarkably clean and organized, and took obvious pride in their craft. They were also incredibly kind to my young sons, who were fascinated watching the whole process. A project of this scale was a major investment for our family, and working with Resendiz was worth every penny. Emmanuel is a stand-up professional who went above and beyond for us. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat for any landscaping project! read more

The guys did a great job , prompt and clean . Very satisfied with the project, I recommended the team to my neighbors and friends.

I'm so pleased with this company! Emanuel and his team arrived early and worked steadily for two days to complete the job. They are thorough and very professional. Emanuel himself is very patient and came back after a long day to assist me in programming the new app for my sprinkler system. I appreciate his attention to detail and his pricing is reasonable as well. Highly recommend Resendiz! read more

Resendiz is a seriously great choice. I hired them to rip up the old concrete in my driveway and part of the backyard so they could put in pavers. Right from the start, they were super organized and had all the right gear. The team showed up on time and had everything prepped before they even began. They really are a well-oiled machine. They did a fantastic, high-quality job, and you can tell they care about their work. Plus, their supervisor was always quick to answer my calls and texts. I highly recommend them--they're the real deal. read more

From the beginning to the end of the project at my house, Emanuel was responsive and attentive to details and provided feedback on all ideas we shared with him. This included great renovation work on the backyard, side walkways, driveway and replacement of perimeter fences. The timelines provided for each phase of the project were met in advance without compromising the quality of the work and the budget set for this project. Emanuel and his work team were always professional arriving earlier than the time stated and stayed until each phase of the project was completed for the day. Emanuel was available and always replied to our messages answering questions that we had or slight changes we wanted to make to parts of the project. Excellent service, quality, work ethic, and attention to detail. It was great meeting and working with Emanuel and his team. Thank you for all your work! read more

A buddy of mine referred me to Emanuel because he said he did a great job with a concrete project in his backyard. I had a pretty hefty area (1000sq ft) in my backyard that was full of mulch and Emanuel and his team completed a beautiful transformation to useable patio space, low-maintenance turf (which the install looks excellent by the way) and nice concrete steppers to make a pathway from the side gate of my home to the back patio area. Not only that, his team was professional, and when the job was said and done, they also made sure that my home was left even cleaner than when they arrived on the job. Highly recommend Resendiz Concrete for their value, excellent landscaping work, and we will definitely contact them again for a future front yard landscape / remodel. read more

Quoted them for small walkway stamped concrete job. Super fast turn around, and after initial meeting on Monday, I had concrete done same week. Super fast communication, no hidden coats, just discuss every detail upfront like with any other project. I did the pebbles myself to save a bit. Month later I sealed the concrete, Emanuel helped me chose the sealant. 6 inch concrete looks great and holds an EV just fine so far. read more

Emanuel and Resendiz Concrete just poured a 28 ft by 45 ft concrete slab for our sports court. Emanuel was responsive and came to the site to look at it and provide a quote. The quote was extremely reasonable and much less than other Concrete companies, which made us a little nervous. I emailed a couple of other clients who left reviews on yelp and they gave excellent feedback and were extremely happy with the job the crew did. We went forward with the project and it turned out great. The crew was friendly, hard working, efficient and cleaned up as they went along. The end result was great and they installed the anchor system for a basketball hoop which required a 4 ft deep hole. We will be using this company in the future for any other Concrete projects we may need done. read more

I'm back for another review! I knew I'd be using Resendiz Concrete again, this time for my back yard. Again, I cannot stress how beautiful everything turned out, how amazing the team is and how helpful they were in getting my backyard ready for summer nights quickly! Great choices for artificial turf, a great selection and help choosing the right rocks and they even filled the weird wooden spacer area from the 70's on the existing walkway so I don't trip anymore. read more

They came back 4-5 times to fix the concrete and can't still make things right. They even damage the new siding of my house so I have to get it redo again. The concrete they did has holes on sides and they excused not to fill the holes because they thought I have landscaping redo in the future then the new landscaping would cover the holes. Anyway, there are too many unpleasant issues with this concrete project. They are not familiar with the building code about the 2% grading away from the property. When they started the job, I asked them to show me the level measurements and found out they made things wrong so I got to be checking that thru the project to avoid them coming back to fix the mistake. read more

Resendiz Concrete - The new side yard - Masonry/Concrete Near Me

We needed to replace our old, severely cracked driveway and walkway. It was becoming a tripping hazard as well as looking bad. I got several quotes and then checked contractor's licenses and insurance for a few that we were considering. Resendiz Concrete had everything in good order and a clean record with both his contractor's license and insurance. I was impressed by the thoroughness of his initial site inspection, his careful measurements, and general knowledge of the process, as well as a reasonable bid, so decided to go with his company. Crew was right on time every day, worked diligently even in the hot weather we were having, cleaned up well daily, and finished exactly on schedule. Our driveway and walkway came out great, especially thanks to a couple of nice design suggestions offered by Emanuel. Highly recommended! You will be happy with this company. read more

Emanuel delivered as promised. Submitted a competitive estimate for the job. After weighing my options, I decided to go with Resendiz, and I'm glad I did. They completed the excavation of a 35x24 area, compacted base rock and installed rebar all on day one, and poured in day two. He came back a few days later and removed the remaining forms. It came out just as I visioned. Overall we are very happy with the quality of work. We hired Emanuel and his crew to do some concrete work. From start to finish they had great communication. He advised me towards a standard broom finish which is what we were looking for. Emanual came to bid on a concrete barn floor of approx 1700 sq ft right after an unprecedented snowfall in the Santa Cruz mtns. He could not get through hwy 17 so he drove around via Watsonville, while letting me know he'd be late. I got 3 bids on the project and he was low bid. I did my research and saw many good reviews on his work and ethics so I accepted his bid. We had a time constraint due to my daughter getting married in our barn in a month, and we still had a lot of barn decorating to do, which couldn't start until the floor was done. His crew spent the 1st day scraping and leveling the floor. The next day they did some touch up and laid in the rebar. The next day the cement trucks (4 of them) came, and with a crew of 10, the pour was done by 11am! They did a light brush finish, smoothed everything, ensured the barn door closed, etc. They were done by 1pm that day! It went flawlessly working with this company and I would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

Paver installation is not their expertise, it was my mistake. 1. Craftmanship is low, lot of small cuts, big gaps, and surface uneven, can't do complicate curve. Paver installer were new every other days. 2. Zero value added to customer. Don't expect to get any feedback whether the design looks good or not. 3. Need to micro manage every detail, else will be disaster. read more

Emmanuel came twice to give me estimates. I had added things after the first estimate and I was also busy. He was patient. When I gave the go ahead, they worked on time and got my driveway and the side of the house done. He accommodated some last-minute drainage concerns as well and completed the project in 4 days.
