It's been almost a year now and the quality of the work is excellent - zero issues with any of it which is a major relief. The detail work he did is stellar - I am still noticing things he took care of without us having to ask. He worked really quickly too which was helpful since the epicenter of our home was completely torn apart. He ALSO found and fixed some MAJOR problems without adding very much to the over all cost of the project which was very, very kind, something most other contractors would have taken advantage of. The last thing I will say is that the weekend before we were set to start the renovation, I severely broke my ankle. I was sending notes and sketches to Cole from my hospital bed and he was unbelievably patient, kind, and open to whatever we wanted to do and made sure he had what we wanted just right. He was easy to work with and made sure we were happy with every single decision. He also gave us great advice when we were considering a bad choice for materials or design. Please don't use Doc's Plumbing! We had a pinhole leak in a…read morepipe that wasn't discovered until it had drilled a hole behind our drywall and started puddling on our wood floors. I tried to patch it with some putty, but it was still leaking and just a couple of days before guests were to arrive. I saw all the 5 star reviews for Doc's, so I thought I'd try him too. He had just come back from vacation and must have had a ton of requests waiting for him, but like others have said, he got back to me, let me know how busy he was, and when he saw a break in the action, was able to come over and deal with the leak. We had a cobweb of copper piping in a very tight space to work in - it took me a while to just find the leak. When Ted was done, all that nasty old copper piping (the section he took out must have had 10 couplings in it), was gone and just one nice, new Pex piping was all that was needed. My jaw almost dropped to see how clean and efficient the work was. So yeah, please don't hire Doc's Plumbing! After all the dismal experiences with other plumbers, we want him all to ourselves! PS: his mini school bus is a really cool shop on wheels!
