They just won't pick up the trash or recycling. I've called no less than 5 times after we were missed for both services. Recycling has 2 missed pick ups (every other week so a month since last pick up). Trash is every week. We are only 2 weeks late on the trash. Wish I could just not pay them since they will not provide service. My husband was able to stop a driver at our last trash pick up and the driver promised to come back the next day to get our recycling, that was over a week ago and they missed our a test scheduled pick up too. read more

Their representatives can't help you, and if you request a supervisor, they only tell you that they'll forward an E-mail and one "should" call back within 48 hours. Don't waste your time or money with this service. If I could give negative stars, I would. The driver regularly fails to pick up waste. When calling customer service about the issue, they promise a next day pick up only for the driver to not show up again! Several calls later and having to speak with the route supervisor, the trash is finally picked up. We have had several instances where the trash isn't completely emptied, or is scattered all over our yard, and down the street when he doesn't empty it appropriately. They have even busted our container from rough handling (the wheels were busted off and the lid ripped off). As for the billing, we were paying over $100.00 more than other companies were quoting. They consistently raise the fuel/environmental recovery fees (raised from 20.00 to 40.00 in one billing cycle). Spare yourself the irritation and go elsewhere! read more

Last week, they need to pick up my trash Wed, miss it, called and reschedule Thursday, miss again call, and there is no pickup Friday, called and an operator said they would be scheduled Monday (today), I called to confirm, and they said: No not today, tomorrow.... I must admit this company has satisfied any doubts I had regarding service. 1 person a company does not make. They stepped in and up and have completely absolutely changed my ENTIRE EXPERIENCE!! Customer service is useless lip service. Trash collection frequently overlooked. Two calls to "customer service" (an obvious oxymoron with this company) and promises that it will be picked up and that local manager will call me - nothing happens. Trash still out there, still no response from "customer service." I have no leverage with this company because my trash collection is rolled into my county taxes, so I didn't hire them. I actually could overlook the uncollected trash ONCE IN A WHILE, but I cannot tolerate the lip service from their representatives who enter "work orders" that are apparently tossed into the trash after they hang up. Worst.Company.Ever. When calling local number always getting someone far away never any local. There is always an excuse for why trash isn't picked up and yet they continue to do this week after week. I've called and told if my collection day has changed just tell me and they advise there's no change just behind. Once again within 1 year I am having issues with missed pick ups at my home. My recycling was not picked up on Friday, it's normally scheduled day. I called and reported the missed pick up and was told that they are sorry and will be out there the next business day, Monday, to pick up my recycling bin. On Monday my bin was not picked up. I called again, was told sorry and it would be picked up Tuesday. It was once again not picked up on Tuesday. Called again, told it would be picked up Wednesday, that the problem has been escalated up to the area manager and that I should be receiving a call the next day. I was told that the supervisor I was speaking with would also follow up to make sure I was taken care of. Not only was the recycling not picked up again the next day but I did not receive a call back from either person. Called back for the fifth time, was told that because this Friday was my normal pick up day that the bin will be retrieved then. To remedy the other missed pick ups I was told to put the extra recycling I have in my home in a trash bag marked recycling and out next to the bin on the curb. I was also told that I would be receiving a call from the area manager again. Today is Friday, they did pick up my bin, however they left the bag marked exactly as I was told out on my curb next to the empty bin. I also did not receive any calls back. This is a horrible service that has not at all fulfilled their company goal of when a service is missed it will be addressed the next business day. None of their promises have been upheld even one as simple as a call back. read more

They broke the wheels on my old garbage container which wasn't really a big deal until recently as they would still pick up the recyclable container if it was out by the curb and pickup day. They don't do that anymore and now all I have is a "recyclables" container and they will not empty it except every two weeks for recycling pickup and what they are getting from me is regular garbage. I can understand leaving a recycling garbage container if is a regular garbage pickup day if only they would provide me a new container to replace the one they broke and I don't want to have my regular garbage going to a recycling center. I had to go to City Hall and see about getting a new garbage container. They said they would contact Republic and I would get a regular garbage container the next day. That was three weeks ago and I never got it. I have very little to recycle. On the other hand, my garbage will only be emptied every two weeks on the days of recycling pickup. By that time, my container is overflowing. I've emailed them twice to complain. No response. Meanwhile, my garbage keeps stacking up and will only (hopefully for me) be picked up during recycling days. read more
