When I was in university, I used to own a female iguana named Cheech (don't ask), so I feel quite at home in reptile pet stores, especially now since I'm in the market for terrapins.
Reptile Cymru is a small exotic reptile store in Canton specialising in everything from corn snakes and geckos to bearded dragons and royal pythons. They also are one of the few UK breeders of African Pygmy Hedgehogs - I didn't see any when I was in the store, so you'll have to enquire, if you're interested. Oh, and Reptile Cymru also carry tarantulas, but I only glanced in their direction because the sight of spiders makes my stomach flip.
This shop also stocks the entire reptile kit, as well as food like crickets, locusts, mealworms, even mice, rats and chicks (you haven't lived if you've never seen a python swallow a mouse - it's like having the Discovery Channel live in your mate's living room!).
