I didn't know how to react at the moment. Also, the jui-jitsu trainer named Kyle is just absolute trash, does not know how to talk to people and got very mad at me and started having a personal vendetta towards me cause I didn't give him a handshake and I recently found he actually went to prison. When I DMed the hinds combat admin about this they didn't do anything about it. I went to their other place in Midtown and the owner Sean actually kicked me out for calling out the BS. I asked for my money back and he refused, it escalated to him getting in my face where I pushed him back and one of the other trainers named Dom came out of nowhere and sucker punched me. I reported him to the police and he left in handcuffs. Sean I think showed how trash and ignorant he is along with the rest of the place. I wouldn't recommend this place to someone who wants quality training

I get that they're going for a very bro coded boxing gym vibe, but the locker rooms in this place were just dirty. Gross stuff in the corners in the bathroom, and the toilet itself looked like it hadn't been cleaned or wiped down in some time. The workout itself was challenging but also had a very small portion of actual boxing for being a boxing gym/class. About 75% of the class was running and conditioning. There weren't enough boxing bags for everyone to have their own, so we switched off with a partner who did other body weight exercises while we boxed. The boxing combinations weren't very complex. The instructor was hard to understand. If this was the only workout available at the time slot I was looking to work out at that day I'd take it, but this was not a great experience for me. That said, if you love running indoors in a circle and don't mind a little bathroom grime this might be your new favorite place.

If there is one thing I wanted to try the most in the world besides food, it was reformer pilates…read more I've always heard of this studio and passed it a few times over the years, I never took the leap and signed up for a class until this year. I started my journey earlier this year and it's been roughly 8 months now and I am extremely happy that I did. The studio, firstly, is very clean and well-maintained. You can see very clearly that the staff puts a lot of care into the space through their facilities and equipment. They enforce a no-shoes policy and recommend shoes off inside, which really makes it feel even cleaner inside. The instructors here are also very welcoming and understanding of each individual. I had a neck injury halfway through the year and had to adjust the way I did some of the workouts and I was not pressured to complete a workout if I felt I couldn't. You will definitely feel supported in every aspect of your workout here as the staff is very accommodating. I have always felt comfortable and safe attending a class even throughout my recovery. I have noticed that my posture, physical health, mental health, and body have gotten 100x better. I feel stronger every day and more confident as the day continues. Doing mat pilates over the years at home, you aren't certain you are performing the moves correctly but after joining this studio I can confidently do mat pilates on the days I can't attend a class. I've since moved further away from this studio and I still make my now 1.5-hour commute to come to this studio. They have many classes throughout the week and their app makes it easy to sign up. I love their class size of 7, though it isn't 1 on 1, you still get a very similar feeling since the class is on the smaller side compared to other studios. Overall, I would 100% recommend this studio to anyone who is looking to strengthen their body inside and out. I've already invited several friends to join me and they have all loved it. Don't forget to bring grip socks though :)!

I called other places that just want to sign you not caring if they actually have room to take in additional students with the reduced class sizes due to COVID. Studio Square not only was up front on pricing, they advised me which classes were smaller so I can get the attention I need as a beginner. I have been going now for a month and the studio is clean and we wipe down each bench at the end of each session. The instructors are patient and they push you just a little to get the best workout possible. They also offer alternative for the excepciones for any issue you might have like my bad back.

They told me at the front desk that after Covid their trainers went to other places & they're starting new classes again soon. Fine, but Covid was in 2020. It's literally 4yrs later. Idk the way the front desk made it seem is like, they've been telling that story for a while now. It is actually "false advertisement" & why are we paying a high monthly fee for amenities that you don't even have? *In response to your message Rosa. LHF website shows a ton of classes that you don't have- which is false advertisement. Also, NO I did not have a consultation when joining, none of the 16yr olds you have at the front desk bothered to tell me anything they were too busy on tik tok & NO it's been 3 weeks and none of your trainers called for a free workout with them, I probably would have joined up for some 1 on 1 training but I'm over it now. At no point did either employee direct us as to where anything was. I had to ask where the bathrooms were. The basement is where the cycling room is which is a room with broken equipment and cycling machines. The locker room was actually very nice and clean. They have their cardio machines on the first floor along with the two workout rooms that have a selection of weights but with absolutely no ventilation which makes it impossible to work out there. Their second floor has their machines which they do have a great variety. However, I felt like there was no ventilation either. The walls had patches of white and unfinished paint which gave the gym a weird look. There were tvs but none of them were on which didn't make sense. On our way out, the front desk returned my ID but didn't ask me anything or if I would be interested in joining. Wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone
