The providers are genuine and explain every step of your treatment in terms any non-medical professional can understand. Before I started treatment with Brigham Orthodontics, my inflamed TMJ was hindering my quality of life. It was difficult for me to open my mouth, painful to chew food, and my face was visibly swollen from inflammation. I had been told by other providers I would most likely need surgery followed by traditional braces. In my initial consult with Dr. Brigham, he told me that he was 98% sure he could alleviate my TMJ symptoms and straighten my teeth with just Invisalign - no surgery, no traditional braces, and he was RIGHT! Dr B also believes that orthodontics shouldn't be classified as a medical luxury and every person deserves treatment; his office worked with me, my insurance, and set me up on a payment plan that I could afford. I was referred here by my general dentist as I've always played with the idea of Invisalign even…read morethough my teeth weren't that crooked. It was during Covid--the era of wearing a mask and working from home so I was like why not try it? People can't see them if i am wearing a mask and it's easier to brush and floss my teeth when I'm at home. I have teeth grinding issues and won't wear a night guard--even ones custom made cuz it just makes me slobber everywhere and so thick. So I figured I'd give Invisalign a try and I didn't mind these in my mouth! Plus, when I first initially wore them, it actually curbed my appetite cuz I'd be like, uh, do I really want to brush and floss my teeth? Thats a lot of work so I stopped snacking as much. Can you tell how lazy I am? Lol So my initial consultation, they took photos and had a plan/time outline and provided the cost estimate. I signed up right away and I think they were surprised by that. If I recall, it was initially supposed to take a year max? I was really good about following procedures, but my teeth are hard to move. It didn't want to move and if I skipped it for even one day, it would revert back. Super annoying. After I finished the packs, Dr. Wachtel was like, we can finish if you want, but I'm not totally satisfied these are straight and recommend you do this longer. I was a bit annoyed, but decided to plug along and get more Invisalign packs. One thing I liked was that the cost was inclusive of everything. So if I needed more Invisalign's, that would be provided at no extra cost. Also if I wanted a permanent retainer, which I was iffy about and he was like you can decide when we finish up, that was also included. Plus, after I paid, they ended up giving me a check cuz they found out my insurance covered more than they though. You don't know how surprised i was by that and that further earned my trust. Fast forward to this month, and I am DONE. He took off my attachments and that was painless. He gave me my final Invisalign retainers--just a tad more durable than the regular trays and I love it cuz it keeps my teeth straight and helps with my grinding. I have one more three month follow-up and then I think I'm done? Nancy, the receptionist is soooooo nice and sweet. I always had to change my appointments, but she always found a time for me. Super accommodating and she actually remembers who you are. Dr. Wachtel is very personable and easy to chat with. We always talked about food and traveling so it was always an enjoyable experience. Go, but know it may take longer than originally estimated. As long as you follow the procedure, you will get straight teeth:)

My husband and I both were patients here, I referred every person possible to come and see them, and I trusted them to the fullest with my oral care, but I cannot allow my 5 Star Review to shine any longer. During some of this history my husband and I would come out to Arizona and I made sure to book our appointments to continue care with this office and refused to see anyone else...they were the best! I respected Dr. Tran for her expertise and passion behind her beautiful office and I appreciated Alyssa for her commitment to making sure I had the cleanest smile in the world...and best convos. This all changed last year. Dr. Tran has been through more front/back office staff than I've ever seen, a couple great, most not good, but I stuck around. I had my last cleaning in Oct 2023, and was scheduled 6 months later with Alyssa. Unfortunately the day before my appointment, we had to lay our beloved 15 year old dog to rest, and the next morning my stomach was a total mess. Considering that the office is 45 minutes away from me, I was worried I might have trouble along the way, and I texted Alyssa that I was sorry there was no way I could make it...first time ever! Mind you, there was no confirmation call the day before (and I booked 6 months ahead), and zero mention of a cancellation fee. My husband had his teeth cleaned and Dr. Tran told him that he had to have all 4 of his wisdom teeth pulled, one that was absolutely necessary as she said she couldn't fill a cavity between the teeth, and referred him out. He went to the specialist, they recommended only the one, and that was done. He had a appointment for the filling already scheduled and also couldn't make the appointment as he got sick, but also didn't have a confirmation call. I called a couple days later and apologized for the mistake. Also, no mention of a cancellation fee. Fast forward, I call them and tell them that being 45 min away, and having a toddler without anyone to watch him makes for scheduling difficult (also Alyssa wasn't there anymore), and that I should probably find someone closer. The girl tells me that I need to pay a balance on the account...for cancellation fees. I told her that was ridiculous, explained the situations, and asked for that to be waived. After some time, they're waived. I go to another office, get a cleaning, and a filling and six numbing shots in, I have a filling that couldn't be replaced as I wasn't numb, and at that point, my BP was elevated quite a bit, and my HR was high. I got scared and left. I texted Alyssa, explained what happened, and called Dr. Tran's office to go back to them. The receptionist books me, and says that Dr. Tran may be able to prescribe something to calm me before. THE DAY BEFORE MY APPT, I get a text (not even a call), after I had been calling for a few days for the script to fill, saying that Dr. Tran doesn't feel comfortable with the appointment, and that I should go back to the office that did it! She doesn't even call me. And this is after I made arrangements for my husband to drive, and stay there for an hour with my toddler. Real nice. I can see that my loyalty really meant something to her. This was after I waited for her to get back from vacation, and I had a temp filling in my mouth for weeks. But she'll pick up the phone for a bachelor that chips his tooth because he was drunk. I called this week to see if my husband could finally come in for his filling, as again, we're loyal, and Kathryn, the intern, tells me that she can't schedule him and needs to talk to Dr. Tran...I ask, "why?" and she tells me it's because he didn't show up for his last appt. But that Dr. Tran would reach out on Thursday. It's Saturday, and I haven't heard from anyone at that office. I share my story with a heavy heart in hopes that someone reads it and decides that they want to be with an office that actually cares about their patients. Dentistry can be expensive, and I would rather put my money somewhere else.

They don't have a set schedule at the location closest to me where I thought was their only location. I was told to walk in any time to get anything fixed but when you show up no one is there and building is closed. " when I called the office, i spoke to the call center and they told me that their schedule changes every week and they are at a further location for the week" it's not the first time this has happened. Why is this not on the website or internet??? Please respect our time just like we need to respect yours. I've lost so much money and time here and no one seems to care much. It just feels like it's about money and I'm just loosing here. I work in healthcare and not only has this placed impacted me but also patient care where work because I'm either forgotten about by this cli or waisting my time trying to see someone when I need to be seen right away.
