Their service is always quick, and on time, I only wish they carried more parts, so you didn't have to book two appointments everytime. Recently I had my Dryer serviced, and it is now running like new. Though there isn't a lot that can go wrong with a dryer, when the little drum support wheel bearings go, it gets noisy. The first appointment the technician diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts, he came back a week later and did the repair. When they order parts they require you pay in full before they order, and it is non-refundable, so you need to make sure you will have another day available to schedule them to come back. Other than that the work was finished in about an hour and a half, which wasn't bad since he had to tear the dryer completely apart. When it was back together, like I said, it sounded like it was new again. The technician said my Whirlpool built Maytag is good for another 17 years. Highly recommend Herb Snow, they are courteous, fast, and knowledgeable. The second appointment is inconvenient as scheduling two afternoons off work can be difficult. I imagine this is just the nature of the repair beast now. Still would not hesitate to give them a call again.

I was told it would cost $130.00 to come out and diagnose the problem + $120/hr labor plus the cost of the part. I was charged $195.00 for the part + $209.99 for the labor + $30.37 tax = $435.36 I later discovered the machine was under warranty. Herb Snow & Son was informed that it was only 2 years old, so they knew it was under warranty and never mentioned it to me. I was under the impression it had a 1-year warranty, when, in fact, it has a 10-year warranty. I found out later that the part Herb Snow sold me for $195.00 sells on Amazon for $21.99. Samsung told me they would have replaced it for free had Herb Snow had only called. At the very most, I should have been charged to come out and diagnose the problem ($130.00) plus labor ($120.00) for a total of $250.00. I ended up being charged $435.36. This amounts to an overcharge of $185.36, and overcharge of 42.58% Avoid these people as if your life depends on it! If you use them after reading this review, you deserve everything they are going to do to you! The only reason they use lubricant is to hold the sand on! I am surprised that local law enforcement doesn't require them to wear a mask and carry a gun.

The technician that came to my house impressed me by noticing a few details such as where my wife liked to relax after a day at work to insure the best location of the register in that room. There were other existing problems that no one else noticed but he found them almost immediately and discussed them and helped me reach the best system for our house. The installers went right to work on the day scheduled and kept at it all day each day. I wasn't sure we could heat this old house this well but we have never been more comfortable throughout the house. After the initial installation we did have a few problems in the beginning but we remained confident because they responded immediately and went all out to be sure the unit and installation was tip top. This has been a cold winter and the unit has not had a problem at all. I would not hesitate to call these folks again for future work.

We have been trying to sell our house but is now unsellable because they have put this awful lean on it. We didn't get anything when he died. The only thing left was the house. Now there's no money left either from the sale. I don't see how this kind of thing is permitted. It is not my bill. Nor does it belong to my children who were depending on this as heirs, and me as an ex wife. They are trying to take me to court. Do not use them. They're awful.

The Good: Great Machines so far and they were good to help us set up a token system which works…read morewell for us. The Bad: First visit out the owner measured our areas and recommended what machines and how many. Then upon delivery our set up was not a match for what he recommended and we had to return two machines. The delivery guys dented and tore new vinyl flooring, even after being told it was a brand new floor and to put down cardboard or a blanket or something(which they did not do) Company did discount machines cost of floor repairs. Once they have sold you equipment they really are not anxious to have to come back out for repairs and discourage those trips by charging $200 trip fee (for around 75 miles) on top of repairs. There is only a 90 day warranty. In other words I am happy with the washers and dryers...not so much with customer service.

We were greeted at the door by a sales associate who pledged to provide great service. She informed us their specials and special finance options and then she advised us to take a look around. She was helpful and yet no pressure at the same time. We ultimately found a great dinning table within my sons price range and located the sales associate to finalize the sale. After paying the bill, we headed home for the evening. The following day while reviewing the bill, I noticed we had not received the advertised sale price. We returned to the store to ask for a refund of the excess charge. To our surprise not only did they refund the money, but they refunded additional money that was not expected. Both my son and I were extremely impressed with how everything was handled. Havertys Furniture has earned our trust and we will purchase from them again in the future.
