The horrible service manager, Jim R, is no longer working there. The techs are great and the new management, Gene and Jimmy, are the complete opposite of what it has been for the last 2 years. We stopped having our trucks worked on at this shop in June of 2022 because Jim R was so rude to us and treated his techs terribly in front of us. He was arrogant and aggressive with his words and actions. We got a quote from Jim, then never got a phone call when other issues were found, they just "fixed" it. This extra "fix" was over $4,000. When questioned, Jim was rude again and then said we could not get our truck without paying this extra amount over our quote. When asked why we did not get a phone call, he commented that he didn't need to call us, just fix the truck. That is no way to conduct business. I will also be leaving this review on other review sites.

Blew me away. Never been to a repair shop that exceeded expectations. We got towed here in the…read moremiddle of the night and slept in the truck until they opened. The service manager told me they would get us in that day to figure out what was wrong but would not be able to get us fixed until the next day as they had a couple of mechanics on vacation. We checked into a hotel, got cleaned up and headed to downtown Rapid City for lunch. After a couple of hours the phone rings and I get the news "The truck is fixed" ANother first, a truck repair bill for less than a thousand dollars, About $500 and we were back on the road.

I immediately notified them And my insurance. They offered no help or substitute vehicle. They took my deductible payment and my insurance repaired their vehicle at the place they chose. They initially told me that was good and thanks for early reporting as it helped them in all ways. Months later they wanted me to pay an additional $2400 for loss of use in addition to the repairs For something I had no control over. They are definitely trying to take advantage of their customers. Yes they talked a nice game but ultimately they are not trying neither helpful like a real rental care agency or fair. My insurance company says they have paid claims all over and never had any agency try to make this claim.

Bob and Danny made the whole thing work and turned our stressful situation around. They rented us a brand new F-350 (so nice my husband wanted to keep it) and allowed us to pull our 5th wheel with it. Insurance even helped. My husband enjoyed them so much he is now wanting them to do some modifications to our trailer this winter. Yes, we still live nearly 1000 miles away, and THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME PICK IT UP IF WE WANTED. You don't find much of that kind of service these days. Then I called Out West Campers and they were able to schedule an appointment within two days. When I took the camper in they were able to evaluate the problem, locate the repair parts, and make the repair within three hours. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced.
