1 star I genuinely…read morewant Wagner to succeed as a local business, but our experience was unacceptable. We bought a Speed Queen washer and dryer. While waiting for them, Wagner provided a loaner washer with a hole in the discharge hose, which flooded our basement. When our new washer arrived, a pipe was broken during installation, flooding the basement a second time and forcing us to shut off water to the entire house. Then our new dryer required 2-3 hour-long cycles to dry clothes. When we called, we were met with defensiveness and blame, including suggestions that our venting might be the problem. Wagner installed the vent. And the vent WAS the problem. Their hose was cramped/restricted behind the dryer. Once corrected, the dryer worked perfectly. The customer service was worse than the mistakes. We actually drove to the store because of how rude the phone interaction had become. The salesperson was so argumentative that he eventually said, "I guess I'll just stop talking until you tell me it's okay." Later the manager sent photos "for our documentation." I responded with my before photos showing Wagner's original vent installation. He asked if my husband still wanted a call; we scheduled it for the next day. He never called. Mistakes happen. Two floods and a bad vent installation are frustrating, but what earned one star was the defensiveness and lack of basic accountability afterward. I chose a local dealer because I want businesses like Wagner to exist. I hope they improve, because customer service shouldn't feel like a schoolyard fight. Sometimes "We're sorry. Let's get this fixed" is all that's needed.

My review of Queen City is actually zero stars. We purchased a Speen Queen washer and dryer set and…read moreit was delivered on Saturday. The washing machine shorted out during the very first load we ran (tripped the breaker when switching from wash to spin). We had an electrician come out and evaluate the electrical, which he said was fine, but upgraded the circuit just to be sure. The brand new washing machine is still shorting out. Queen City says it's not our problem - take it up with Speed Queen. We did that, and even the Speed Queen rep said that if a problem occurs within the first 30 days the supplier (Queen City) should make it right. Beware of purchasing anything from this place - they will not stand by the (very expensive) products they sell.

They have a room for KitchenAid, Viking, Ge Select, Wolf, etc. I was referred here by a trusted friend after my Home Depot appliances died after 7 years. I was looking to ask questions and look around. The younger guy with the great hair, long and wavy helped me both times I have been here. His name evades me but I wouldn't work with anyone else if I went back. He literally knows the details about every product in the store. Like knows. Not faking it. Knows. Ask him a question - he knows. If he doesn't - he will go find out. We talked specs, I was sensitive cause I was buying appliances again after mine died and wanted to try something different. We measured, chatted about deals, compared prices, and stewed. They let us do our thing. We purchased and had delivery a few days later. Delivery crew was awesome too. I would recommend this place to anyone for appliances or mattresses. Exactly the experience I was looking for and the prices were super competitive. Don't buy without at least looking here too.

I verified he wanted to replace the compressor and submitted a claim. A week went by and I didn't hear anything so I reached out for status update and was told he did not hear anything from LG. I again contacted LG and was told email was sent out the same day he diagnosed my problem. I have since left multiple voicemails and no response. It has now been over two weeks and my family is still without a fridge. If this company did not want to do the work I wish they would have stated that when asked in the first place. Funny how they can answer the phone or call back when you try to schedule a service call, but not after they take your money. Poor service and follow through! I would not recommend this business! UPDATE: The business did reach out and offered a solution to fix this miss. I already purchased a replacement appliance so no additional services were rendered. I do appreciate them at the very least reaching out to to try and make this right. Thank you for that. I will increase the rating for this reason.

I was approached by a white male employee with white/gray hair and glasses in the tv section who asked if he could help. I politely told him, "No thank you, I'm just looking. I'm not buying today." What really bothered me was the way he spoke to me about my decision not to purchase that day. After I repeatedly explained that I was just browsing, he made a comment along the lines of suggesting options for me "when I have the money." I never told him I couldn't afford a TV, nor did I say money was the reason I wasn't purchasing one that day. He then went on to tell me that anything under $600 was "bottom of the barrel." At that point, the interaction felt incredibly condescending and presumptuous. There's a difference between helping a customer understand different price points and making assumptions about their financial situation. The irony is that I walked into Best Buy intending to purchase a TV, washer, and dryer within the next month. I was genuinely considering spending a significant amount of money with this company. Instead, I walked out feeling judged and disrespected over a purchase I simply wasn't making that particular day. I will never be back.
